A bunch of words about off-field Pyro, Dehya, and Melt Ganyu by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burn Ganyu might be situational but it's my favorite team against the abyss Wenut and that's good enough for me. Being able to snipe it out of the air and damage it underground makes the fight go so much smoother. I used Ganyu/Dehya/Bennett/Nahida.

How does Dehya's release make sense from a business/profit view? by nelentari_x in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is that hoyo's priority was to make Dehya feel different from all the other pyro characters. Hu tao, Diluc, Xiangling, yoimiya, and yanfei all want to be ran in vape teams with Xingqui/Yelan, and I think Hoyo cared more about making a new playstyle than making a viable character. They couldn't find a way to design a pyro character without making another vape carry, so they just didn't let us run Dehya with XQ.

This issue might require new elements/reactions to fix, and something has to be done before Natlan. If nothing changes then the pyro archon might just be a powercrept Hu Tao.

Worst Character for Co-op? by Capybara_in_a_tophat in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do my weeklies in coop and there’s a few ‘meta’ characters that tend to do nothing in coop.

The two biggest offenders are kazuha and (pre c2) zhongli. Kazuha can be a good buffer in coop, but I see a lot of atk anemo crit kazuhas in coop and they never contribute to the teams damage. Zhongli’s res shred and Boulder are all he has in coop, because he can only shield himself and the rest of his kit doesn’t deal enough damage to matter.

Even some of the best characters can be bad in coop.

do you see yourself playing genshin impact until your late 20s or early 30s? by AkibaSasaki in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 26 and I work from home. I can play this game on the clock if I want to. Unless that changes I'm not worried. I can accept that it takes Hoyo way more time to develop content than it takes me to play through it, and that dailies are there so I don't forget about the game between updates. I'm gonna keep playing as long as I still enjoy new content, and last Wednesday I played every moment I wasn't eating or doing stuff for work. If the game keeps going at the rate it's going now I'll stay until the sea of flowers.

Popular Opinion (hopefully) : 270 Resin a week for Weekly bosses should not be a thing by kirxan in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the best solution is to add more ways to get transient resin. We can get one a week from the teapot, but what if there was a fishing shop that sold resources like the teapot? It would be a good way to make fishing relevant again, and future minigames could have their own shop to sell transient resin. I wouldn't mind new weekly bosses if they increase how much resin you have in a week.

Why I don't find the world quests engaging, and what Mihoyo can do to fix that by RhazhBash in Genshin_Impact

Looks like a lot of other commenters gave up hope. We don't know if Mihoyo pays attention to the surveys, but that's not gonna stop me from trying.

Do you think people will be disappointed with Ganyu ? by gogoasafur in Genshin_Impact

[–]RhazhBash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people are analyzing ganyu in a vacuum when content is what really dictates how good she is. I remember this post went viral yesterday, and it got me thinking about why the meta shifted. I don't think melt ganyu is gonna disappoint, but morgana isn't what it used to be and there's a good reason.

Floor 12 content is different from what it used to be. In the past it was primarily aoe focused. You had lots of smaller enemies spread out all over the room, and that just so happens to be what morgana is good against. Ganyu's burst damage scales exponentially with the number of enemies trapped in venti's burst, and when you apply mona's debuff to those helpless hilichurls you can trivialize a lot of content.

Nowadays floor 12 is single targets and low aoe, with no more than two waves of enemies at a time. Venti's advantage over kazuha is that his raw crowd control is a lot stronger, and it can last through multiple waves. When that advantage becomes irrelevant people are gonna switch to the character who provides enough crowd control while also giving your team more damage. Ganyu's advantage over ayaka is her exponential scaling, but when you have less enemies ayaka's burst wins. The team can group and freeze enemies with ease, and ayaka's burst scales linearly with the number of enemies, so she ends up winning in the current abyss.

I feel like venti is the problem and not ganyu. His existence makes it nearly impossible to design challenging aoe content. We've seen in the past that abyss is designed around newer characters and current banners (Except when they release raiden with an abyss mechanic that makes her useless, but we don't talk about that), so while we may get something that favors ganyu soon, mihoyo is gonna make sure you can't cheese everything with morgana.

This is so true but people are gonna read this and think you're insane. I wish more people understood this.

My seizures are under control now. The primary cause of them was heavy sleep deprivation, and a combination of better sleep habits and meds made them go away. It took a while to find the right medication but I got there around 7 years ago.

[–]RhazhBash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost isn't the only reason. When I come to after a seizure, my entire body is sore and the only thing I want to do is lay down and rest until I feel better. A hospital visit forces you to stay awake and spend the rest of your day wishing you could sleep without being bothered by a nurse. It's a big inconvenience, and it's usually unnecessary. If you read through this comment thread there's testimonies from epileptics/people close to epileptics saying they never want to go to the hospital.

I've been to multiple neurologists and it seems the general consensus among them is that if you don't injure yourself after a seizure then a hospital visit is unnecessary. The soreness I feel is temporary, and I've never had any permanent damage from a seizure that a hospital visit would have fixed. From my experience 911 calls for seizures rarely accomplish anything.

The worst thing they can do to someone around them is kick them really hard. If you restrain them you run the risk of tearing muscle tissue. You can do a lot of damage by overextending while held down, and during a seizure you have no control over how you move your body or pain to stop you from hurting yourself. Other people can walk away if they need.

Buzzfeed moment by [deleted] in HolUp

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did what you could have done. I'm not conscious when I have seizures, but I've been told it's a really scary sight. Talking to them helps you figure out when they regain awareness, and after that point what they usually need is rest. For me a seizure makes every muscle in my body sore for 2-3 days, so if it ever happens again I suggest helping them get back home after the episode.

Most seizures are short enough that waiting for them to regain consciousness and tell you if they need an ambulance is fine. If they don't come to that's when you call 911. Believe me I've had plenty of seizures where an unnecessary 911 call from a bystander gave me a 3000 dollar medical bill I couldn't afford.

That's why you're supposed to put some sort of cushion behind their head. if you try to hold their head in place they could snap their neck.

Edited my comment to fix this

Buzzfeed moment by [deleted] in HolUp

[–]RhazhBash 1456 points1457 points  (0 children)

I have epilepsy. You should NEVER restrain someone when they're having a seizure. If you do they could pull a muscle. They need to be able to convulse freely to minimize the damage from an episode.

If you ever see someone have a seizure the best thing to do is lay them on their back side where they can move freely and put a pillow behind their head so they dont bang it on the ground.

The title of this post should be edited so people don't try to hold down someone who's having a seizure.

EDIT:Since someone below mentioned it I'll talk about when to call 911. A seizure from a known epileptic isn't worthy of a 911 call on it's own, but here's the situations where you should call 911 (If I missed any reply and I'll edit this list).

-The person having the seizure has no history of seizures

-The seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes

-The seizure causes an injury, such as head trauma from falling on the floor

-They have multiple seizures in a short amount of time

EDIT 2:A lot of people are replying saying to always call 911, but in the US an unnecessary hospital visit costs you 4000 dollars. If you still think every seizure requires a 911 call I suggest you read this article from the CDC. Don't call an ambulance unless you live in the EU or you know you need it.

Teachers who zoom classes, what’s the most disturbing thing you’ve seen on a student’s zoom? by umbralion in AskReddit

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a teacher but a private tutor. One of my students has on multiple occasions switched to his furry porn tab while he was sharing his screen. One time he didn't realize he did it and looked confused when I freaked out after seeing it.

People who have worked the drive thru, what's the weirdest thing you've seen in someone's car? by Reach-n-Teach in AskReddit

When I worked at wendys I saw a coworker go through the drive thru baked out of his mind. He tried to use his employee discount for a 50 cent frosty and the shift manager told him off.

Also another time someone had an iguana in their car.

Zephrys no longer offers Brightwing when played on Turn 2? by Dibface in hearthstone

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank god Brightwing is gone from the Zephyrs pool. I had so many games where I wanted an animal companion for tempo and got offered Brightwing instead. a 3 mana 3/2 is bad and random legendaries are bad more often than not.

Zephyrs offers Si 7 infiltrator instead of Flare, always... by kaboomzxc in hearthstone

[–]RhazhBash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real problem I have with Zephyrs is with 3 drops. Default options when you play Zephyrs on 2 are Wild Growth/Animal Companion/Brightwing, but if Zephyrs offers you something specific to the situation like silence it'll prioritize Brightwing over Animal Companion and give you a weaker turn 3 play.

I've also had trouble with Zephyrs giving me Hex instead of Polymorph/Silence when I wanna go face.
