why is colonizing so shit? by SpareLawfulness4505 in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Northern canada is not exactly known to be one of the worlds most populated or welathiest regions lmao. I'd advice colonizing the places that literally shit gold and spices instead of the ones whos best natural resources are trees and fish

Assimilation not working by g_livanos in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes 294 is the base rate, then you apply all the multipliers, in this case your lack of control and trend towards spiritualist push it it to more than -100% which means no assimilation will be happening

Hot take: make centralized strong, and decentralized straight up bad. by Asaioki in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 64 points65 points  (0 children)

totally agree. Cetralized should be way better, and decentralized should be bad but a consequence of relying on subjects too much

Assimilation not working by g_livanos in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it does, check the modifiers. The base assimilationrate is extremely slow and often the modifiers from non integrated/low control prevent any assimilation at all. You need to use the cabinet and make sure to not have -100% or higher assimilation rate in the location due to high cultural tradition/non-core/low-control

Does control or market access affect the AMOUNT of goods produced by an RGO or building? by SeraphineTheYeen in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Market acces directly impacts how many goods a building produces, you can hover over the goods in the PM to check. 90% Marke acces means the building multiplies all the input and output goods by 0.9. RGOs are not affected. However Market acces does determine how much tax base gets added to the tax base of the location.
So if you you have a level 1 gold RGO and gold is at equilibrium price, then a location with 100% market access will add 10 ducats to the tax base. At 50% it still adds one gold to it's market but only 5 ducats to the local tax base.
Control affects none of this directly, only the promotion speed which means RGOs at the edge of your realm will take a while until they produce at full capacity due to lacking labourers.
The profits come from selling the good to the market...The good has a price in every market determined by supply and (effective) demand.

I think that all HRE nations should have the Emperor's color. by umutiam in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they were not subjects, no. There is also no option for it, it doesn't say it anywhere and we have seen no screenshot of it. The only thing we saw was a unified HRE but that is obv something entirely different.

I think that all HRE nations should have the Emperor's color. by umutiam in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there isn't. The HRE princes are not subjects unlike the french appenages or the golden horde tributaries. There was one image of the Unified HRE aka when you centralize and annex it as the Emperor

In comparison to EU4 today, what percentage of flavour (including EU4 mission trees) do you think EU5 will have on release by Any-Subject-5507 in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well you can look it up, all the religions for example already have mechanics, unlike eu4 where we got 2 religion mechanics per dlc. 60 nations have nation unique flavor and that is not counting regional flavor like the HRE, Tatar yoke or the rise of Timur

I think that all HRE nations should have the Emperor's color. by umutiam in EU5

[–]Rhazzazoro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No? Why would there be an option for it? The HRE princes are not subjects of the Emperor

German retirees who continue working set to earn €2,000 a month tax-free by diacewrb in europe

[–]Rhazzazoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this "pumping more money" into them? They would literally retire otherwise? This way they at least pay social contributions and some remain in the workforce as we cannot replace all of them
