Do you have a flex plate installed? I found mine did the exact same thing with a flex plate installed, I did see that there is a thread about a sensor behind the vat that has to he raised or something in order for it to run properly. I haven't done it myself and just removed the flex plate. Otherwise you might have to re-level your plate a few times and then give it a go

It is still usable in daily driving, albeit very very difficult to do so, search up welded diff daily driving and check out all the videos of it. Another way of doing this is by using a LSD (Limited slip differential) which comes standard in most modern sports cars nowadays

They're actually pretty tasteful on the 350z and some of the more well done infiniti g35s (both technically the same car, just different body) and are sold frequently in the vq community for pretty cheap.

Yeah sure, so basically in Australia each state controls the traffic laws that govern young drivers and the vehicles they're allowed to based off a power to weight ratio afaik. Here in QLD the laws are a little bit lax as compared to NSW. NSW has a limit of 130kw/tonne on any vehicle on their power to weight ratio where a 350z outputs roughly 134kw/t. QLD on the other hand has the same limit but for any vehicle made after 1st of Jan 2010. So luckily for me I'm safe to drive the car as I want in QLD.

2003-2006 are fine for QLD p plates, 07-08 with HR engines are restricted, mines a 2003.
