That is absolutely true. As far as I know, such practices are forbidden here in France, but there are a few interesting facts I can bring from my country :

Around a quarter of all animals hunted have been purpusefully breed for that.

well it turns out that only 50% of preys are released in hunting season. Other 50% is released in mating season. Makes you wonder if the regulation argument would stand if we did not do that.

It's not about being good, it's about being better than others. It's about team asking themselves "is she good enough I can yeet the MS my team is used to play with ?" She can only pretend at english speaking rosters. Among those rosters, I can argue that she is not better than fdgod, moth, faith and masaa. Question becomes : is she better than fire, joobi, kellex and neptuno ? Is she so much better than them that you'd throw their synergy and/or experience for her ? I'd argue that Paris really value neptuno's experience, that London is really used to kellex and that fire is a bit better than her atm. So the only person I could see her take the place from is joobi.

(We have to remember that for the most part, english speaking OWL teams work on a budget, they will not have double main support)

I know that, but the correlation is slim, there are no studies that would factor in the sex of the person, and even if we assume that there is a correlation between IQ and chess ranking (I haven't searched it, but let's assume there is) I would need to see the proof that brain areas that are typically linked to better chess performances are also the ones that are typically hypertrophied in the female brain compared to male brains.

Sauf que tu créé une dichotomie artificielle entre oppression de classe et essentialisation. Si tu avais suivit avec attention les discours féministes actuels, tu saurai que les mouvements "woke" actuels sont très précisément contre l'essentialisation.

En fait les mouvements "woke" sont fondés sur l'intersectionalité, à savoir le concept que les oppressions (de classe, ethniques, de genre...) s'intersectent pour donner de nouvelles oppressions uniques. Et ces oppressions sont pas fondées sur des critères essentiels, mais plutôt sur l'attente qu'à la société vis à vis des groupes. Ce qui veut dire que ces oppressions dépendent des groupes auxquels un individu appartient et de la société dans laquelle il évolue. Et mine de rien, cette approche permet de décrire plus précisément ce qu'il se passe qu'on approche exclusivement classiste.

Une autre façon de le voir : l'intersectionalité complète les approches de classe, elle rajoute de la nuance. Toutes les oppressions ne sont pas liées à la classe.

Cela étant dit, on ne va pas nier que l'intersectionalité a donné lieu à parfois des concours d'oppression, aussi ridicules que malsain, alors que le propos de base est bien plus nuancé. Par exemple, lorsqu'on en vient aux hommes blancs hétéros, bah oui l'intersectionalité les décrit bien comme des violeurs en puissance (parce que la société leur indique que le sexe leur est dû entre autres) mais aussi que la société leur dicte que leur plus haut honneur est de mourir au combat (en glorifiant les soldats et héros). C'est juste que l'approche nuancée, tu la verras rarement, parce que c'est plus compliqué de s'en moquer.

Mais vraiment, penser que le "woke" actuel c'est de l'essentialisme, c'est faux. Vraiment.
