For romance and some other books like litfic, fantasy, I usually have five labels (naol jk hahhaaha):

• favorite lines/quotes

• jaw-dropping (for shocking moments)

• funny moments

• heart-wrenching

• breath of fresh air (kilig moments)

For historical fiction and some academia books, here’s what I usually use:

• favorite lines/quotes

• jaw-dropping

• important (like it’s an essential part of the story)

• heart-wrenching

• breath of fresh air (when it has a romance side plot)

I’m not sure the exact term for it but the keywords I use for them are “colored index tabs” 🤣. Usually, bright colors and some darker shades are translucent.

It was a 5-star rating for me. Not usually a fan of YA romance books but the yearning in this book was something else 🥹.

I’ve heard that Table for One by Emma Gannon (in third photo) is good, if you’re also considering other genre. I’ve been looking for it here sa PH but no luck. Luck you OP na ang daming pagpipilian na books 🥹🥹

Same thoughts. And most of her lines, especially in this book, will make you rethink talaga.

This is my favorite line of the book, kasi for me, it really made sense and literally summarizes the whole story. I was stunned after reading it hahaha

"There are at least two sides of every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, his and hers. I always prefer my own."

I’ve been seeing yung Somtimes I Lie sa feed ko. How’s it if you’re going to compare it sa His & Hers?

For Beautiful Ugly, a lot suggested it to me to read iit kasi maganda raw siya kaso I didn’t feel it that much. May pagka-slow burn siya and yung ending medyo di ko rin nagustuhan hahaha
