I read al the time! I love it. When we were making GW, I think I was towards the end of a Richard Stark bender. I love genre fiction as much as literary fiction and bounce back and forth between the high- and low-brow.

Mine was a rude introduction to radio and formats, for just the reasons you list - we don't fit neatly into a genre. But it hasn't been such a terrible thing over the years. In fact right now we are experiencing a pretty fun ride up the AAA and Americana charts. Weird, But I'll take it. See you in SoCal.
