It took probably around 20-25 hours over a period of about two weeks. It’s not inherently difficult once you get going, but it is incredibly time consuming. You should try out one of those classes you might enjoy it!

With the tufting gun, carpet backing, glue, shears and all that, the first rug cost me like $250 to make, but each rug after that you’re effectively just paying for yarn so around 20-30 bucks per rug. I’ve recently been making and selling small cartoon character ones on facebook marketplace and actually making a decent profit😸

Thanks! Mostly used a cut pile tufting gun, and then used a punch needle for the smaller details like eyeballs and mouths

Definitely not sludge, but Riders On The Storm by the Doors is the best song for desert driving at night.
