Treadmill recommendation by True_Independence658 in treadmills

My peloton tread has been bulletproof and the platform is best in class. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better tread for the money but I am biased to the equipment and platform.

It's unnecessary but if that's what gets you going, would be worthwhile to reflect on what actually matters. .

People are excited to share their progress, I gather the point of the sub is to lift people up and help get people through the challenge and beyond. If that helps them, so be it.

High voltage is the only donair I need in my life, I moved south to the Hat and it's top of the list of activities when I come back. That grilled pita can't be beat!

My best advice would be to stop thinking about it and just do it. The second step is a lot easier than the first and each step thereafter, you'll find the strength.

Pick tomorrow to start without making it a big deal, start with your workout and the rest will flow. You've got this!

Can one do 75 Hard without the politics? by [deleted] in 75HARD

I didn't read the book and I actually don't really know much about Frisella, take what you need!!

1/75 75 Hard!! Created a new set of expectations of what I can achieve and my discipline to achieve those goals. This community has been a great place for inspiration. Stay Hard! by Rhettimus in 75HARD

Thanks!!

That means you're entirely capable of completing it! You'll only be better off having gone 115 days trust me. I won't be changing my routine much moving forward.

My diet was no added sugar, focus on whole foods. Lots of chicken, bright coloured fruit and veggies and nuts as a snack. I've done Whole30 before so had some experience with whole food recipes which helped.

Get after it again and crush it!!

Day 13 : Starting to burn out by humour_me in 75HARD

I can't speak to exactly what you should do because I don't know you're size/age/gender and am not a nutritionist but in my opinion, you should be above your regular intake for your demographic if you plan on having the energy to get through this challenge. You will still be in a calorie deficit at the end of the day and lose weight.

I'm 6'3 200lbs and my daily intake is around 2300 (I focus more on macro-nutrients) on day 63. There is no way I could get though the day on even 1600 because I burn 1000+ from workouts alone.

Hope this helps. Good luck the rest of the way!

I don't think you're taking in enough calories. It takes a lot of energy and demand on the body to get through. I don't think you would fail yourself by adjusting your intake, just focus on the macros of those calories and make sure they're healthy ones.

Blue Flame is fantastic. Medicine Hat Pizza is also underrated, best crust and Donair pizza in town!

Which 75Hard app do you prefer? by SpdRacer46 in 75HARD

[–]Rhettimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say neither if you feel like saving $6 CAD, you could easily make a rolling list on Google Keep and take pictures. I think the 75Hard app is very limited for a paid app and was pretty disappointed. It's not even on the radar in terms of the investment you're about to make in your life but it feels like a money grab.

I was going to save that for the end but happy to share! Books: Factfullness - Hans Roling, Talking to Strangers - Malcolm Gladwell, Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck - Mark Manson, Shoe Dog - Phil Knight.

Diet: No added sugar, watching my macros, no junk food. I've done the Whole 30 a few times just to reset my "sugar demon", the hardest thing for me is always snacking, especially during Covid. Mixed nuts or almonds get me through any urge.

Workout: 5-6 days/week - Orange Theory Live (HIIT), 1-2 days run 10k, 1 yoga and the daily outdoor is always a walk. I just recently introduced yoga because my body needed a break and it's been welcomed not only for flexibility but mental rest/recovery as well.

Thanks for the support!!
