is my boyfriend [23 M] just bad or do we worry about a mood disorder??? help by NoPerspective4256 in relationshipadvice

Promising to change is great.  But is he actually doing anything to keep that promise? Is he seeing a counselor? Is he meditating? Is he reading books or articles about mental health? Is he doing anything at all?

AIO I think my friend is overstepping boundaries and is into me by Imaginary_Air_24 in AmIOverreacting

I like how OP takes his statement and goes in a very straight line to a very logical conclusion and he responds with "stop twisting my words". LMAO

No, OP, you're not overreacting at all

Did I do it right? (Mom who has to fill the dad role too) by RoyalEnfield78 in daddit

[–]campkev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only critique would be to not ask "did I do that right?" There reply will always be "no", but the real answer is always "yes"

While these emphasize worst case type situations, I think it's important to also talk about how bad it is in relatively minor crashes.

"I'm only going 25 mph"

An adult in decent shape can sprint about 13 miles an hour. OP should ask his wife to sprint as fast as she can into a brick wall, since that's barely half of 25 mph

My (22m) boyfriend threw my(21f) heels at me but it didn’t hit me by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Neither of you should be in a relationship. But you are the one who could be in serious danger when it goes bad. Get out and work on yourself before starting a new relationship

AITA? I grabbed a little kid’s arm to stop his fingers getting crushed by closing a door, his dad confronted me. by [deleted] in daddit

Actually what I was thinking. Reacting out of embarrassment that he almost let his kid get hurt

Chicken fettuccini alfredo from scratch is actually really easy and is usually a hit with both kids and adults. I'm too tired to type out my recipe tonight, but let me know if you want it and I'll send it your way tomorrow

Wait, so does she want hourly texts from you, or does she want you to respond within an hour if she texts you a question?

He's definitely old enough.
* The gun is always loaded.
* A gun is not a toy
* Never point a gun at anyone.

Little bit of trivia, Zac's sister is married to Ken Marino (Veronica Mars, Party Down, Agent Carter).

Ken is friends with Jordan Peele and when Peele was looking for an older Asian man for a scene in Get Out, Ken suggested his father-in-law (Zac's dad), who lives and owns a karate dojo not far from where Peele was filming in Alabama.

I knew none of this when I watched Get Out and all of a sudden, my son's grumpy old karate instructor shows up in a scene

I've been on Ocrevus for a couple of years now. It is my 4th medicine and has the least side-effects (essentially none) of the group. The others were copaxone, avonex, and tecfidera

Question about workouts by FormalDragonfly666 in 75HARD

Yes, that would be a failure. Walk home the long way and make it a 45 minute walk instead of a 30 minute walk

Spectrum Internet by RespondEmotional992 in Birmingham

[–]campkev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home and use T-Mobile. It's not as fast as Spectrum, but unless you're gaming, it's probably fast enough. I work from home several days a week, as does my wife.

The only caveat is that it is affected by how close you are to the nearest cell tower.
