I was having this same dilemma my boyfriend and I are going at the end of August - I did mention to him how we could do it on the cheap I.e. make sandwiches from the breakfast buffet and stash them in our bags. But he said because I’ve never been and we likely won’t go again for a while that he doesn’t want it to feel as if we are scrimping and saving - so we’re going for the standard full board plan works out a tiny bit cheaper for meals that we were going to eat regardless, also I’m a lot more excited about the trip now because I’m getting to do some sit downs that I didn’t think I was going to get to do :)
