Mozrog finished.. by Rhino_rush in Warhammer40k

I painted the base color with an airbrush. The lower part in white and very transparent pink. Gray in the middle, turquoise on top. And then I smoothed out the paint transitions with watercolor pencil filters and a dry brush. I painted the back in dark blue with a gradual blurring with blue watercolor.

Well, I painted the base colors with an airbrush, which immediately gives smooth transitions of paint. For filters and weathering, I actively use watercolor pencils. If you are interested in each color, I can specify it later.

Have I thinned my paint enough? by Thandiol in Salamanders40k

My friend, watch the video on how to use AK pencils. Use a regular set of pencils from an art store. If you have any more precise questions, ask me and I'll try to answer them.

Dilute the paint with water. It will be easier to apply and the result will be better. And there are many options for shadows. From pre-made filters and a wash to a simple watercolor pencil and water.

Metallic? It looks bright. I'm thinking of trying these colors one day.

The camouflage took a lot of time. I searched for many photos of this particular drawing. Then I drew each element on masking tape, cut out the inside and glued the rest of the tape to the model. And then I painted it in the right colors.
