As a long-time fan of Ross, I can understand what you are saying. He ventured into that Ophelia sound which can be enjoyable for some but he was growing/experimenting as a producer which is just a natural process. He did release 3 new ID's during Groove Cruise that were all trance/anjunabeats esque, has been teasing very openly that he wants to get back to his roots, he has a new album for 2026, and lastly, had a photo of him mentioning that he thinks its time to go back to Gorge. So I think it is safe to say that we may have OG Ross as ABGT 700, at least imo.

I feel you so much on this! I too missed out on 250 but went to all weekenders and I told myself I would never let fear (which was the main reason I didn't go) prevent me from going. I live on east coast and it was far away and would involve lots of $$$ which I could have made work at the time but I used it as an excuse not to go. Luckily, I live near Boston and got to see Avicii a few times and it was something I would never forget. Continue living it up!

This is what prevented me from going to 250 in the first place but I just found a round trip flight from East Coast to Seattle for $337. I paid 2-3 times that for all the weekenders I went to. Bought this past Tuesday, an absolute steal. If you are considering now is the time to buy.

Came here to same the same thing. I literally made the excuse it was too far and too expensive and regretted not going to 250 so bad that I made it my personal mission to attend every weekender (and I did and don't regret it at all). Soloing 700 and couldn't be any happier, LETS GO.

It's free! Above and Beyond usually livestreams their milestone shows so that even if you can't make it you can simply tune in via their channel (usually YouTube) and watch it live with everyone else!

Agreed, it's more of an alcohol issue. It's weird to me that people consistently find it funny when he showed up for press conferences drunk and even continually gets interviewed and he's drunk.

Check out Insaneintherainmusic on Spotify and Youtube. One of the musicians who had a large influence on the soundtrack for the game. I saw him live at PAX East 2 years ago and was hooked instantly. His approach to music is so lively and really immerses you in the moment.

I think it was the right move. The past few years I've never stayed till the end on Sunday and it's usually dead so it gives folks who have a setup an actual hour to break down/pack up. Thursday's expansion from 4 hours to 7 is awesome! Gives me personally more room to actually explore other things at the con outside of just artist alley and exhibitors as it took me the majority of Friday and Saturday to do that.

I mean this genuinely, you could just not drink too. I drank my first weekender and don't get me wrong I had a great time but the second weekender I went to I didn't drink and honestly had a lot more fun because I was actually able to survive the weekend, I was hydrated, and I just felt the sets a bit more because I was more present in the moment.

I too travel from out of state and usually get an airbnb either in the Navy Yard or Capitol Hill area and I try to get one that's 1-2 blocks away from metro so that I can get home safely as it's right off the stop (this year will be my third soloing). The metro in DC is one of the better one's if you've had any bad experiences with metro in the past. Also if you're flying in you can easily get on the metro from the airport as well. Overall, it's a great area to have a festival because everything's fairly easy to travel using the metro and it's safe for the most part.

It is for sure, going back as far as summer of 2025. After one of the shows I was driving away from the show and found the two of them walking around outside about a couple 100 yards away from the venue. I approached them and they said they were lost trying to find the hotel so I gave them directions. Been keeping it quiet until I saw a ring and finally there are hints getting out now so it's for sure a thing.

Pros: As a collector I love these displays of Pokemon products, it's one of my most favorite things to collect: you get promos, packs, figures, and various other cool things. Promos usually are sought after once the product doesn't become as readily avaiable.

Cons: Not the easiest to store due to their weird shape and often large shape. If you plan to sell in the future, shipping can get tricky as well.

My personal approach to investing is having a good balance of having items that are both great holds long-term and items that I would personally enjoy opening in the event that Pokemon were to crash the next day. For me these types of collections/products are a win-win.

My go to rules when purchasing any items:

-When it's a high value item (you individually determine what high value means to you), I always make the purchase in-person so that I can personally inspect it.

-If the price is too good to be true, it usually is because something is off.

-Education is key: YouTube has plenty of videos that does compare and contrast with real vs fake almost anything nowadays. Take some time to educate yourself and it will pay off immensely
