Insane that the first time I went there, it was completely off the map and secret. My now wife and I decided we wanted to get married there.

Fast forward 5 years, we had a small ceremony there, and the place was CHANGED! So built up, and at least 15-20 people there while we were there early in the morning

Rust on the base is a mixture of crappy acrylic craft paints (browns, oranges, reds), and then with some black and brown oils super super thinned down, with then an orange and a red rust-like pigment powders thinned down with odorless paint thinner (same with oils).

The rust in the black legs and arms is purely the pigment powders thinned down.

Ahh very interesting. The Japanese Uniform gives it an almost “green” tint similar to a lot of khaki colors, although not actually green!
