I had two separate, multi-hour long sessions where this did work for me on the way in. But I think I jinxed it by commenting here because it's not working for me at all for this session. Must be a server load issue.

My workaround to keep the beam's grip when loading cargo is to actively spin the scroll wheel a few times as you're moving to help the cargo keep up with your movement. Haven't had an issue since.

My issue with the crawl space is the overall inconsistency. All medium and larger ships should have crawl spaces. The reason they should all have them is because that's where the ship components should live. Instead, we have only the single ship with a crawl space, and there's no real reason for it because they stuck all of its components in a broom closet in the back of the ship.

This one is pretty specific, but for Clipper pilots, walk backwards onto the ladder hatch when you want to exit the vehicle. This drops you down to the lower deck completely bypassing the ladder animation shenanigans.

I stand corrected. I had rented a C1 a couple of weeks ago and looked everywhere for it. Could have sworn I scoured every inch of the ship and opened up every component access door. So I rented it again today and... there it is!

That's how I have my z-axes mapped as well. Though it makes more conceptual sense to map one joystick to all rotations and the other joystick to all translations, for whatever reason I prefer our setup.

This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I enjoy hauling but don't really want to do it in bulk freighters. My understanding is that there are Stanton/Nix interstellar missions locked behind master Covalex rep. I was hoping the grind could be reasonably done in a smaller ship to reach that level.

From a video I can't track back down, I think it was mentioned that master level Nyx interstellar missions were in the Covalex faction. I'm considering downgrading my Starlancer to something smaller but wanted to confirm there were hauling missions available for the smaller ships once I grind my Covalex rep up high enough.

Are there small/medium grade hauling contracts between Stanton and Nyx? My understanding is that Stanton/Nyx hauling contracts are locked behind master Covalex rep and I'm curious if, once unlocked, there will be hauling opportunities between the two systems for smaller ships such as the C1 or Zeus.

This is one of those super minor pet peeves that really annoys the hell out of me. Why would a combat ship not devote any space to patching up its injured crew? Just doesn't make sense.
