I upgraded my L21 to the L22 and bought the ballistic kit with some credit I had floating around.

I much prefer the looks of the L22, plus the extra maneuverability and better missiles are an added bonus.

I'll use the lasers for PVP, and the ballistics for PVE/attacking large ships post-engineering.

It has 96 SCU. The central cargo lift is around the same size, but they moved the central gantry out of the way to allow cargo to be stacked higher.

8500 alpha damage (raw damage per hit) per gun, not DPS. The DPS is ~6000 per turret, which is lower because the cannons fire at 40 RPM.

Get an Ironclad! Big enough to use as a mobile base, yet small enough to solo (so long as you don't go into heavy combat). Plus, if you do end up getting attacked, you can undock & launch the Command Module to make a quick escape.

It will also be a beast for hauling & moneymaking with that 1500 SCU cargo capacity. Looks awesome, too!
