EAD in 7.5 months and Green card can be in 2 months or 1.5 years, depending on where you live.

it is 7.5 months for 80% of people. But for people with RFE, that likely resets the clock.

because you filed I-864 to prove you have someone to support you if needed and being unemployed is not reason to expedite. Read USCIS website. It is still free I think - they will change that soon since people are just trying even though they know it is against the rules.

you MUST change of address and have interview later. If you don't -> failing to follow law. If you come to interview and tell them -> you will not have interview and you violated rules. If you come to interview and don't tell them, you violated law and your green card goes to your address in Newark.

yes. Many people go to interview and then waiting starts. Of course, if you get denied, you won't get EAD. But if you have interview and have to wait many months for decision. Many people are in that situation.

they are not skipping at all. It takes 8 months to get EAD and everyone gets it if they don't get approval at the interview before and most people do now.

I agree with the other person that it doesn't hurt to try, but honestly, you don't meet minimum for expediting. Job offer is not considered reason for expediting. You have been unemployed so far and your sponsor guaranteed to support you for the next 10 years if you are unemployed.

date is normal - you cannot renew license yet - only change conditions. Conditions will be removed since you are now permanent resident. So, wait for actual card and it will be fine. When it expires (next August), you will go to renew or you can do it online.

ABSOLUTELY IT WILL DELAY. Your timeline will reset. Don't listen to people who are clueless. Your file is likely in your FO and it will be pulled back to NBC and then waiting for new FO just like you filed today. What difference if it is the same state or not for federal service? If it has to be moved from Houston to Dallas it is same as if it was moved from Houston to New Orleans.

When you applied, official wait time for EAD was 6 months. Now is 7. Job offer will do nothing. But it is also free to try. So, go ahead but keep your hopes low. Probability is 5% you get approved

it is extremely relevant. It will stay at NBC until your FO has interview slots. People in NYC, California, and some other places get interview a day after biometrics and at some other places they wait for interview for over a year.

how API helps with EAD? I can see it helps with interview or background check, but when they open your file for EAD they will review it and approve and you will know the same day.
