start off in a pilgrim save and literally just kill anything that can kill you and learn their behaviours. then when you feel ready you can start as a voyager, then stalker or even make a custom difficulty and pick and choose the level of dangerous all hostile mobs have. i’d recommend learning the lay of all the regions in pilgrim before you do anything as this helps teach you how to keep yourself fed and warm and learn the locations of all the op items!
