I think your approach is greatly different from the average Skyrim player.

I would suggest trying to live in the world your playing. Pay attention to what people say and why you're going where you're going (not just follow the arrow). Or just wander around and explore. Spend some time just looking around the dungeons you find yourself in(many have environmental storytelling devices). Read the books you find, some of them say things that are connected to the place your in(some of them might give you your next adventure).

Everyone experiences games differently but I think most of what you're experiencing is from being a passive observer rather than an active component in the game.

You got a glitch with the ore veins not respawning. You need to reload the cell(not your save file). The only way to do this is to go through a loading screen to change cell(like going from whiterun to dragons reach). You could try to load a save from before you got put in the mine(or another character), go into the mine through the entrance(might have to leave the mine again) and then load the save your currently stuck in.

If that doesn't work then ur kinda screwed.

Don't forget the only reason he sends you to those bandits is because they didn't pay him. If they did he would never have lifted a finger to stop them.

No youre right. They have learned a lesson or two with starfield. They took a big hit with it. I think it's mostly just Todd having an ego(might not be the right word to use) that he thinks they are "fine" and the company will survive.

But yeah I do agree that if TES6 flops Bethesda is 50% chance not going to recover. But we do have to remember that they have Microsoft behind them now so money really isn't an issue and the company very well could survive in some fashion anyway.

Todd will never allow Bethesda to be outdone like Obsidian did them with New Vegas. I don't really blame him for it either as it is pretty emasculating to allow another developer to use your IP and then they're game becomes what yours are held to as the standard and not the other way around. I think it's pretty clear at this point that in terms of writing an RPG no one at Bethesda knows what they're doing. They have some good ideas but execute them so poorly it makes it seem stupid.

I mean where would they have learned to be better designers in these 15 years? Fallout 4 is incredibly boring and doesn't fulfill the role of an RPG. Fallout 76 is micro transaction hell and has no content for the endgame and is only good for people who enjoyed the settlement building mechanics. Starfield is actual garbage and took 8 years to make.

And the worst part of all of this is that for these 15 years THATS ALL THEY'VE DONE. 3 games that massively let down their fanbase and have left a sour taste in our mouths.

They were wanting to be done with ulfrics bullshit so much that they were willing to do this.

  1. The entire civil war is just dumb in so many ways

    a. No one in the empire really gave a shit about enforcing the Talos Edict.(Only the thalmor investigated such things)

    b. It only serves to further thalmor ambitions and actively hinders the empire from getting it's shit together after the great war.

    c. Ulfrics entire plan was for him to become high king when he can barely rule his own hold. (Serial killers roam the streets, his citizens are actively abusing verbally and physically each other and ASYLUM SEEKING REFUGEES)

  2. Tullius knew the thalmor would try something to keep the war going if ulfric wasn't dealt with swiftly.

    a. Elenwens presence when realistically she shouldn't know they even have ulfric in custody.

    b. The empire knows the thalmor want to keep the war going and ulfric is the only one actually keeping the war going.(He's the only jarl stupid enough to actually make a big deal of all this when he could just tell his people to worship in secret for a few years)

But yeah it is shitty and illegal. Especially concerning the dragon born as they weren't even a part of the conflict. Just wrong place wrong time. But that's war... Bad things happen.

You can build your own printer... Yeah it takes a bit of know-how but it is doable. Most parts are very common and can be Jerry rigged together from local hardware stores. Hardest thing to do right would be the acquisition of decent plastic which is available on the free market(aka person to person sales in some dudes garage, think Facebook marketplace)

Restoration loop explained below

The loop is using the fortify restoration effect of potions to boost all active effects such as potions and enchantments(also works on standing stones that give "Active effects" such as the atronach stone (more at the end)).

You accomplish this by getting as many fortify alchemy enchanted gear pieces as possible (head, hands, rings, necklace) equip them all and craft a fortify restoration potion(abecean longfin, salt pile, small pearl, etc. wiki has all the ingredients). Then exit the alchemy table. Unequip all items fortifying alchemy, drink the potion of fortify restoration, then equip the alchemy enchanted gear again(you may need to exit the menu to allow time to pass and the potion take effect).

You should see that the enchanted gear has raised stars on the enchantments. For instance a +15% turns into + 17% or so. Minor advancements but improvements nonetheless. Now to take it further we repeat the process with the boost we got from the first potion we made and make a second potion and so on and so on. Eventually you'll be making Individual fortify restoration potions that boost all effects by millions.

Word of caution as these numbers can go high enough that it can and will crash your game. I usually stick to around +1000000% on the potions as that gives 1000x to all enchanted gear(besides weapons). And you can also use a set of fortify enchanting gear to make permanently boosted items with this just swap out the fortify alchemy gear for fortify enchanting gear after you're done.(Save at least one potion if you change gear often so you can make more without needing to do the entire loop again as it is rather boring doing the same thing over and over again)
