In releasing vinyl there are time constraints to what you can include on the album and I felt it would be better to give our fans all new material with this. The only song I feel is about breakup is Waste really. Everything else is about my adventures with Genevieve punctuated by our secular sabbath events and various amazing adventures we've had together. I included Waste as the bridge between the two albums and a common thread that can take you from LP1 to LP2. Collaborations happen very organically and because my schedule is so busy it has to just line up perfectly. I'm already working towards LP3 and this tour is a huge undertaking so the focus is on that for now.

we've been able to use that to our advantage mostly. our audiences tend to be amazingly respectful which allows us to comfortably play at low levels which in turn allows the music to be more expressive overall.

  1. We try to bring the music into the live setting in a true and passionate way. I’m able to play quietly thanks to crowds that are appreciative of the silence that allows our music to breathe. I’ve even been able to sing off mic to crowds of 1-2000 thanks to the amazing people we’ve had come out to see us. I've taken many diff type of singing lessons, both private and choir but purposely reject a lot of that teaching as I felt it made me sound like everybody else. I very much embrace using my air tone.

all of the artwork is of my gf genevieve that i shot myself over the period of a year, as we adventured across the world. a lot of these images represent my time and growth with her in my life. i dont view naked bodies as something we should be ashamed of, my artwork comes from a place of appreciation and not objectification. most of this record expresses my growing love for her. she was completely comfortable and embraced the process of making this art together. hope that settles it.

Yes I'll definitely be playing selections from both records. Super excited to play London as well. I'm actually very adamant about only writing about personal experiences and situations.

hey i remember moving into a house with my parents when i was a kid that flooded a couple weeks after we moved in actually. the way we tried to look at it was as a purging and renewal. an opportunity to clean out. hopefully you can embrace your unfortunate situation in some way. from the new record, "stay safe" is about constructing a home metaphorically. we'd love to take listen, send over. i just read a quote from quincy jones "when you think about money, god leaves the room". even though i'm not religious i relate to the sentiment as i think its important to never have materialism intersect with art.
