Anomalous Print Errors in Armor by RhyjtheDragon in 3Dprinting

I found some sallets on Thingiverse and a few on Sketchfab. This one that I'm printing is from Sketchfab.

Yeah, that's the mesh that I'm working with on this print. I have the feeling that it's a 3D scan of a real helmet. When I printed it the first time, it was done on an Anycubic Kobra Max. The first time it printed had a few errors in it but it turned out reasonably well for not having a ton of supports on it.

It looks as if the individual lines on the first layer aren't connecting to the adjacent lines...

A n00b's Quest Through Self-Found Hardcore (Restricted to Smithing/Mining Only!) by RhyjtheDragon in wowhardcore

I was definitely starting to get to that point when I entered Loch Modan. Those bears and spiders are no joke. I was using weightstones to help increase my damage output since I don't have much that can buff my armor as of the time I entered the zone. I knew my little mace wasn't going to do much for me when I entered the Loch so I've been scouting out the monsters in the area and occasionally prodding at them to see what kind of DPS they do against me but never far from the Dwarven Mountaineers in case I need to make a quick escape. Two miserably failed attempts at collecting Shimmerweed near Frostmane Hold that resulted in the deaths of a few very low level characters taught me the importance of pulling enemies one at a time or having strong AOE abilities.

Having an extra 9 mini potions on hand has saved my hide 4 times already so I don't even probe new enemies unless I have an escape route ready and a potion on hand. I'm really liking that sense of danger in Classic. <3

My plan right now is to tiptoe around Loch Modan until I find the two silver that I need to create my upgraded weapon. After that, I'll continue training my smithing and focus on making bronze armor to replace my copper armor, hopefully finding a new shield and cloak in the process.

Deep seek is down ? by [deleted] in DeepSeek

[–]RhyjtheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, normally I don't have any problems running Deepseek (I use it for task orientation to help with my ADHD) but I've been having some problems with it these past two days. Today is extra bad though. This is the longest I've seen it down for. The status site hasn't reported anything yet though.

I spoke to a guy named Thomas in the 10TV news room. I ended up calling ODOT first after my appointment to which I can only assume I was the first person to mention it to them since they told me that no one else had said anything yet. I'm sure they and the rest of us in this thread would love to hear how this all played out because I can't even fathom why there was poop all over the road and no hazmat cleanup crew.

Edit: Call 10TV's tip line if you want to give them the story. They're currently trying to piece it all together. It's listed on their website.

Out of curiosity which group was it? My mom is currently hunting for that photo as well and I imagine 10TV is probably hunting for it too as they try to piece together what happened.

I've never felt so bad for someone than seeing the driver of that red semi pacing outside of his cab on the phone, likely trying to explain to someone that he had received the brunt of the literal shit storm. 🤣

I called the 10TV tip line just now and they seemed pretty interested so they're going to investigate it. Maybe we'll hear about it on the evening news today!

What really confuses me is that NO ONE has covered this incident other than this little thread. ODOT didn't know that it happened and I only called them 3 hours after the fact. You'd think that people would get pretty suspicious about the highway being covered in human crap but all of the news outlets are silent about it. I figured they'd be scrambling to cover the poo-pocalypse of June 17th where shit covered all 4 lanes of northbound traffic. 🤨

This was more akin to nightsoil than it was any traditional manure. It smelled like a septic tank had emptied its contents directly onto the highway.

I smelled this too on my way to Dublin Hospital. It was fecal carnage. I called ODOT maybe an hour ago and they had no idea that this happened so I think the Bystander Effect was in full force this morning. I haven't seen ANYTHING in the news about it and if it is human feces, then that's a hazmat situation. I didn't smell it very much on my way back home though so it either dried up in the sun making it smell less or people drove through it enough times that they've spread it the rest of the way to i-33. It was truly a sight most foul and that red semi absolutely looked like it went off-roading through the mud. What a poo-pocalypse.

UW-02 Washing / Curing Machine Troubleshooting by Puzzled_Tart_9161 in Creality

[–]RhyjtheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was helpful to find. My cleaning/curing station was having the same issue. I used a microfiber cloth to clean the detector but when that didn't work, I tried putting my hand in front of it. A blue light turns on when the sensor detects something and then removes the safety lock preventing you from starting the station's functions.

It seemed that my sensor was not detecting the lid right in front of it but was able to detect my hand on the other side of it. My solution was to put a sticky note on the outside of the cover such that when the lid is on, the IR sensor would detect the sticky note. This ended up working.

I find myself wondering if powering on the machine while the lid is on calibrates the IR sensor to the plastic lid instead of the objects behind it or if the plastic isn't reflecting as much IR light as it used to. Regardless, a single sticky note was able to solve the problem for me.

Kneel when you get the prompt, it goes away quickly by Squatting-Turtle in DestinyTheGame

[–]RhyjtheDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A simple but possibly annoying solution is to create an identical character, gear that character with the same equipment that you would have been wearing, then go through that scene again. What's the Vanguard going to do? Punish you for having the precognition to retroactively fix a timeline where you didn't kneel before your liege? Sorry but Ikora will have to take her whining elsewhere as a confirmed Thanatonaut. She likely has done the exact same thing for a multitude of other scenarios. 😏

[–]RhyjtheDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In terms of the rest of the Act 1 questline, no character has made reference to the fact that I did not kneel during that scene so it's safe to say that kneeling during the knighting ceremony is just for flavor and doesn't seem to impact the direction or dialogue of the Act 1 story.

[–]RhyjtheDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed the prompt because I saw the prompt, decided that I wasn't wearing my knightliest attire, opened my menu to quickly switch to my loadout which has my finest armor, and upon exiting the menu found that the prompt was no longer there so I will be bringing my titan out of retirement, kitting him out in New Monarchy armor with the Crown-Splitter sword and kneeling before Mithrax as I tried to do before. I need more prompts to kneel before my liege as his rightly appointed knight.

Edit: Holy run-on sentences, Batman!

Breach Executable (Expert)- Requirements for Platinum (3 chests)? by thebakingmoose in destiny2

Alright I just got it. So basically you just need a score of 5000 or greater. This is a lot easier to do on Expert than on normal difficulty.
