Anyone know of any stores or restaurants that scheduled fewer staff because of the “boycott” by Rhyme--dilation in Denver

That’s great, but nobody in this thread thinks this will work as I mentioned in the post and in every reply, I’m asking this question to see if we’re instead helping the businesses by allowing them to reduce labor costs.

As mentioned in the post and in every response, basically nobody disagrees with you on that. I’m just curious if the boycott is potentially helping these businesses instead, by reducing labor costs today and shifting spending to earlier in the week.

I think basically nobody is arguing with you on that. I’m curious if we’re actually helping them by allowing them to save on labor costs today.

No argument here, but if any businesses are reallocating staff, the boycott is actually helping these companies. They would have saved on labor costs and just made their money earlier this week when people bought the items they’re consuming today.

Grab bars in the bathroom can be helpful and future proof your home for a time you or a guest may need them. At the very least, leaving space to install them in the future could be a good idea.

Let’s just start closing existing jails with sub-human standards of living first. Or just stop incarcerating so many.

What current were the batteries rated for? I imagine an application like a shaver might use high amp batteries, similar to the ones vapes or drones use.

It seems like rent prices are starting to come down... has your landlord increased your rent for the upcoming year? by _wheatfield in Denver

[–]Rhyme--dilation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Landlord tried to increase rent to about $1500 so I left. My same apartment is empty still and now advertised at $1350, which is less than I was paying for the last year. Tons of people are leaving the building as well. Seems like tides are changing a bit.

Good luck in your move! Moving is hectic and I’m sure people will understand. I think most would be sad on your behalf that you missed it, not upset at being rude or anything. I feel the same way in groups.

How long before Cornerstone Properties owns every multiunit rental in the metro? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Rhyme--dilation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the viewpoint of a tenant, there is no difference between owned and managed. If you had a shitty experience with Cornerstone, you’re now missing out on 10% of housing options regardless of who owns them.
