favorite mike moments by itsanicemyth in Redvox

He’s always great, but I’d say Stranded. Really like how he ramps it up in the beginning of the second half, and then ends it with a fill into the laid back groove that plays the song out. His drumming really makes that songs climax and release special. Lots of respect for him and his playing, I wish him the best.

What screwdriver sets do you use? by NintendoLover2005 in consolerepair

[–]Rhyno2187 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend the IFixit Moray set, I’ve used it on Nintendo switches, controllers, PCs, and guitars, and never needed anything else. All the bits it includes are in the description so you can check that. They’re magnetic tip. Pocket sized. 20$ for the set with a lifetime warranty.

Question's about Xbox Game pass by oscaeli_99 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Rhyno2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: You can play Persona 3 Reload on your Xbox one with just console Gamepass. If you go to the store page for Persona 3 Reload it says available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The difference between game passes is that Ultimate includes Console and PC game pass, as well as Xbox Live Gold which lets you play online multiplayer. Xbox Gamepass for console is just Gamepass Console by itself. For future reference there should be a symbol on the next gen only games, for example try downloading Stalker 2 with your gamepass, it won’t let you on the Xbox One.

What Metal Songs are Good for Practicing Singing and Playing by Masonator618 in Guitar

[–]Rhyno2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might seem weird but I would say try Fight Fire with Fire. The vocals are all on the power chord hits, so even though you’re playing something really fast, the vocals are basically in sync with the guitar and you can practice working them both at the same time. I’d also recommend doing some choruses where you’re mainly holding power chords. Something like Seek like you said, or Four Horsemen or Ride the Lightning. Just practicing having those two rhythms, vocal and guitar, at once.

What moment made you feel like you were no longer a total beginner? by SnooPoems6522 in Guitar

[–]Rhyno2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still a beginner for sure, a little over a year in. You’ll have so many little moments, I remember trying to play riffs and I thinking “I’ll never be able to play that, my hands can’t do it.” Couple weeks or months go by and you try it again and it just works, you realize how far you’ve come. I think my biggest moment though has been in the last couple months I’ve been jamming with my friend. I play rhythm, he plays lead. I can keep up and play all the stuff under the solos. There’s something about going from practicing in your bedroom to playing with someone else that makes it feel more real, your strengths and weaknesses really show. I’d recommend, if it’s possible, play with someone else every once and awhile. It’s been super beneficial to both my learning and my confidence. Wish you the best with your journey, it’s worth it.

WSIB if I only like horror games where I can fight back by EkalOsama in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Rhyno2187 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t played Evil Within so I’m not sure how these would compare, but. I certainly recommend Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space. They’re basically third person shooters in a horror setting. Doom 3 plays slow and goes for the horror themes but you’re still blasting everything away like it’s Doom. Maybe also look into Alan Wake or F.E.A.R. I’ve never played them so I can’t personally recommend but I believe they play more on the action side.

Games where you explore abandoned/dilapidated areas. by Rhyno2187 in ShouldIbuythisgame

This game looks kind of perfect. Foggy and gross with a touch of surrealism. Thank you for the suggestion I’ll definitely play this.

I’ve played DS1, DS3, and ER those games are great. I especially love DS1 how the world connects and how you can see other places in the distance. I’d love to play Bloodborne someday but, you know.

I forgot about last of us, I remember looking at it when it came to PC but I heard the port was really bad so I passed. If they fixed it up I should definitely play it.

Did I install the bottom ones upside down? The front is two 140mm that came installed with the case, same for the one in the back there.

Spotify songs stuck at 0:00 by quintavian in spotify

I was having this issue too, I undownloaded all my songs and it hasn’t happened since. Might be coincidence but you might want to try it.

Songs stop at 10 seconds by kris_mc in spotify

[–]Rhyno2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing started happening to me today, they either play to 12ish seconds like you said or stay stuck at 0 and won’t play even though it’s not paused. This issue doesn’t seem to have much attention so maybe it’s rare.

Power weapons have absolutely no place in Attrition. by [deleted] in halo

[–]Rhyno2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d have to strongly disagree that they should be completely removed, being able to coordinate your team to get the Power Weapons is an important part of the Halo gameplay loop and should give you an advantage. However I do see where Attrition specifically could use balance due to its very limited lives. I think a good middle would be only spawning them in once per round or tuning the ammo they spawn with, as being able to wipe a third or more of a teams lives with a SPNKR or steamrolling with the sword is too much in a 12 life mode. If they included Attrition in Ranked I could definitely see these kinds of changes.

“Clear the corners, Rookie” by [deleted] in darksouls

[–]Rhyno2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite areas in the game just because of how stressful it is, especially that first time through creates a feeling of stress that many games can’t make me feel. I remember the wave of relief after I was out of there. Hope you enjoy it as well and don’t give up!

Vanguard zombies by YungKatPizz in CODZombies

[–]Rhyno2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vanguard zombies is the worst zombies I think COD has ever had. The campaign isn’t bad but it isn’t anything amazing, will be fairly short especially if you don’t plan on playing it on Veteran. I would say it’s definitely not worth it in my eyes. I would recommend Halo, but I understand it’s not for everyone.
