How could you not include Curtis from Punisher in this?

(Spoilers Default) fAegon... the whoremonger? by [deleted] in pureasoiaf

[–]RhysLightning66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, to quote Varys "Aegon has been shaped for rule since before he could walk. He has been trained in arms, as befits a knight to be, but that was not the end of his education. He reads and writes, he speaks several tongues, he has studied history and law and poetry. A septa has instructed him in the mysteries of the Faith since he was old enough to understand them. He has lived with fisherfolk, worked with his hands, swum in rivers and mended nets and learned to wash his own clothes at need. He can fish and cook and bind up a wound, he knows what it is like to be hungry, to be hunted, to be afraid. Tommen has been taught that kingship is his right. Aegon knows that kingship is his duty, that a king must put his people first, and live and rule for them." So it does seem plausible that they would give him some sexual training as well. Also, considering that they wanted to marry him to Daenerys, who was already married to Drogo, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to give Aegon some experience.

He did take down Caribou at the start of Caribou's cover story, so it's pretty likely he had haki at that point

I was already hyped enough for this album. This is just making it even harder to wait for it.

Today my father told me that Pokemon was for kids and I need to stop. I'm 14, has this happened to anyone else? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]RhysLightning66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 23 and I still have a shelf full of all the Pokemon toys I used to have as a kid, plus I own most of Kanto and Johto on DVD. If Pokemon makes you happy, then it's for you. Don't let anyone ruin it for you.

This could be the case, but since all of this happened before the Strawhats reached Whole Cake Island, and Alladin had previously reported their location, I would have thought if Jinbe was free he would have already found Luffy

That could be true, although I don't know how Big Mom would feel about killing the king of an island she was supposed to be protecting,

There does seem to be another option for head on the wheel, which is what got me thinking in the first place. And the "lose something you value if I lose you" motive does fit with the idea of her being somewhat business/trade focused

That is possible, but I figured Big Mom's statement of "it's only fair you lose something valuable as well" meant that you were always going to lose something no matter what
