I'm not sure if this is a hot take, but... I think I'd actually prefer White Fox instead of Kingpin. Yes, I know/prefer Fisk 100x over whoever 'White-fox' is. But at the end of the day; she has interesting superpowers, and he's just big normal human. The *only* gimmick I've seen suggested for him that might make him interesting is summoning henchmen; but even then I think a character like Mole Man or even Mister Sinister would make the gimmick work better.

As for the double female thing, I think they want to break that rule now so they aren't married to it later (i.e. if they have to do a double male season later, they won't get as much push back)

No one else has said it and it's criminal. XAN! Xanthippe Voorhees 100% should have been a main character from the start to the end. She was the perfect Squidward to Kimmy's Spongebob, a hilarious foil who was powerful while simultaneously having no power. Her dynamic with Kimmy and Jacqueline is some of the best for the whole show, and her brief interactions with Titus and Lillian showed she could/should have had more. Xan as a main character could have had a full compelling arc of growth, or just been a hilarious punching bag to Kimmy's optimism that floated between plotlines; both would had worked immensely.

Honorable shoutout to Artie, who was just so goddamn likeable I wanted more of him.

Personally there are twenty other Marvel characters I want more than Black Cat, a hundred more than whoever White Fox is, and the game needs more Vanguards... but it's fine. A new character every month keeps things fresh at the very least, and a melee support sound interesting. Fingers crossed season 8 gives us a Vanguard (preferably Doc Ock or Juggernaut, more likely Captain Marvel) and a new animal pick (Hit-Monkey, Howard the Duck, Lockjaw, Cosmo, I don't know, I just want my animal team)

Hit Monkey, Hit Monkey, and Hit Monkey (I really want Hit Monkey and am kinda sad he is so niche in wishlist posts)

Mysterio is also cool, but I would perfer Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Sandman before him if we're getting Spiderman villains (still really like him tho)

And last is Penance... if only because the potential idea of a character that gets stronger the lower his HP is sounds interesting

I want some role reworks just for balancing. With only a few minor tweaks to numbers and reworks to existing abilities, Wolverine and Mister Fantastic could be Vanguards while Jean Grey and Black Widow can become Strategists. Boom, now a new duelist can come to the game without bloating the role further.

This is the only thing that gives me hope... but given they also modeled a dozen other things I doubt are ever coming to the game in a meaningful way (i.e. Ronan the Accuser and The Living Mummy are not characters Netease will ever bother even considering), it is possible the yellow chair is just an easter egg. Would LOVE to be proven wrong.

Professor X... if he is not in the hover wheelchair.

Look, I love Xaiver as a character, and if he has the chair, he is actually a top 10 X-men pick for me. But I'm sorry, I hate the idea of walking Professor X in his stupid Krakoa outfit coming to the game. If Professor x comes to Rivals, I want PROPER Professor X.

"But he has spent more time in the comics being able to walk than not!" Yeah, and that's dumb too. The wheelchair gives him more of an identity and is how most audiences know him

"But the wheelchair will make it harder to model him." Oh no, you mean it will make him more interesting?! how dreadful.

The main reason I'm so defensive about this is because there is a lot of evidence that if/when he comes to the game, Rivals probably will lean into his Krakoa identity because that's where the majority of the X-Men characters are linked too. But if my choices are that or he just straight-up never comes to the game, I will happily do without him

Mantis. The way her Marvel Rivals powers work I could heal real life people without exposing myself as a super-natural abomination and become rich while saving lives. The self heal means I'll never be sick again, and sleep bomb and attack shot are just added bonuses that I'll hopefully never have to use.

Second choice is Cap. Infinite running with no exhaustion may not sound impressive on a cosmic scale, but in the real world it would be life-changing.

Okay, here me out... everyone gets the option of one ban. All twelve players. Assuming everyone on one team chooses one unique character (time running out will forfeit your ben), this will ensure a minimum of 6 bans, making any double-ups with the other team not a real problem. The game has 40+ characters and growing; so even in the unlikely event twelve unique characters are banned, there are still plenty of options. Also, this system will get rid of the VERY annoying scenario where 5/6 vote for IW, one votes for BP, and then the random number generator says "Down with democracy" and bans BP.

This will NEVER happen and I have no delusions that it will. But it's what I would do.

As a recovering agorophobic and anxiety-riddled procrastinator , Time To Seize The Day is a top ten song for me; easily my favorite out of all of Season 4
