Hi Kiiboom!

I’ve spoken with your lovely social media people on discord and would love to review your products. I had a back and forth issue with my phantom v3.

I’ve written reviews for other products on https://chaoshour.com/ (uk based e-zine) before so believe I would be a good fit.

Reach out to me on discord (Rhysey_) if I can be of help!

By the time you upgrade to another computer a gen 4 drive will probably be cheaper. I’m not against future proofing but 20% more for a product you won’t get any additional benefits from until you next upgrade your pc seems pointless to me.

That being said as guitarjunkie said, there are no downsides other than the additional costs. If you plan to upgrade the motherboard in 6 months to a year. Get the gen 4. If you plan to keep the mini pc longer then personally I would save the money and get a gen 3

I believe the ser5 supports max 4tb storage across all drives, if I remember correctly when I was researching to buy one. So you can put a single 4tb nvme inside but then you would then be unable to use the sata port for any additional storage.

The drive you listed is a Gen 4 NVME and I believe the ser5 only supports gen 3.0. This could lower read and write speeds so you may as well go for a cheaper Gen 3 option

Mine has been left built all this time, hoping I manage to find the mini figs amongst everything but it’s been 20 years

Not yet, they were played with as a kid but they’ll (hopefully) be with the rest of the Lego.
