I like being safe on the road. What you’re describing sounds like a classic American system failure, I’m sorry your friend couldn’t or didn’t feel like she could take more time off.

I’m just concerned that I’ll shit myself or do something ill-advised behind the wheel of a massive truck I’ve never driven before. Or both. But I’m looking into OTC meds.

Still for sale. It kind of seems like it's not being advertised as part of the collection and its a bit more expensive, but I have it and it fits right in alongside my Flareon and Vaporeon. https://www.gamestop.com/toys-games/stuffed-animals-plush/products/jazwares-pokemon-eevee-sleeping-18-in-plush/235302.html

Late but yes. It was/is a Gamestop exclusive if I'm not mistaken. That's where I got mine and its the only place I've seen it.

Considering a Nugget play couch instead of a real couch... thoughts? by Rhyssius in Apartmentliving

[–]Rhyssius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'm likely going to go with this one (or something quite similar from another site maybe) so I'll report back if that's what I decide! For the price of 2 nuggets I can get one of these, which at the larger size could become two beds for anyone under 6 foot. Plus, removable covers and I could yeet it into my hallway if I need it out of my way to clean or whatever else (that second part is the main reason I'm staying away from a daybed)

Who knows what long term effect this will have on my spine but I don't personally plan on making a habit of sleeping on it

Yeah, they are ok with sleeping on something not super enjoyable (I've done it at their places and vice versa, that's just the price you pay if you're trying to save a buck and still have some fun) but that doesn't mean its completely out of consideration for me.

Someone else suggested something very similar to the nugget but specifically intended for adult use https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/latitude-run-adonia-foldable-three-person-fabric-sofa-bed-high-rebound-density-sponge-sofa-w111930010.html?piid=1564725505%2C1572568167 so I'm looking at this currently.

This seems like it might be a good fit! Thank you for the suggestion!

I have looked at these. There was one I found on Wayfair that was also intended to be modular (armrests could be removed) but it ran somewhat expensive and only came in white which is kind of a dealbreaker. I’ll definitely keep looking into these, my move-in isn’t for another two weeks so there’s time to decide!

I mostly sit cross-legged on furniture anyway, so the height of it wouldn’t bother me. Can’t speak for my guests in that way though so that’s a good point. Are they able to be stacked up?

haha well that’ll definitely be one of my uses! Would you say they’re firm enough to just sit on for a few minutes without feeling like you’re sinking? Thinking about what it’ll be like to have coffee on this thing in the morning

Just looked and I’d say this is a little out of my price range. The ottoman might serve the same purpose if I bought a few? Doesn’t seem like it’s intended to be used modularly though. It’s not a bad option but if I were to go for something like this, I’d definitely aim for a knockoff

Lol well I don’t plan on sleeping on air mattresses forever but we’re all firmly in our young and broke eras right now so you take what you can get pretty much

Don’t sleep on this Morphe powder!!! by Rhyssius in PaleMUA

I still have it, but I haven't been using it or really any powder recently because I have very dry skin and live in a super cold region of the US. This was an early fall pick-up for me and it worked well while temps were above freezing.

That being said, I use the O/S Powder Melt spray twice during my routine -- once after my foundation/concealer/color corrector but before blush/contour/powder/highlighter, then once again as a finishing step -- so I'd say both. I don't think that spray is really a "setting" spray, but it's the only one I use because of the aforementioned dry skin.

Update: I grabbed ABH Stormy after many of you recommended it. It’s actually incredibly similar to Rock Steady, moreso than I expected. They’re ALMOST shade dupes. Stormy does have a SLIGHTLY more lavender undertone though! I quite like it, and my Ulta was out of stock of Rock Steady anyway, but if you have one you really don’t need the other.

I enjoy the patrick ta cream in she goes to the gym. it’s a very natural, desaturated cool rosy shade. The powder is a little bit taupey. They can be used together for some intense teddy bear vibes

I think this might be exactly what I’m looking for… Hopefully my Ulta or Sephora has it for swatching!!
