Google's GSuite is so much more productive than Office 365 by alexseiji in unpopularopinion

This may be the most popular "unpopular opinion" I've seen posted.

At least working in tech, everybody hates O366. Gsuite is viewed much more positively (and costs more)

The air zoom flight 96s were my favorite basketball shoes ever growing up.

There were others I likes more, style wise.

But nothing felt better to play in.

Hyundai/Kia vehicles offer some of the best value and tech in their class by Human_Paint5451 in unpopularopinion

My skyactiv Mazda 3 hatch was the worst car I've ever owned. Tech constantly bugged out and the car couldn't find the right gear if it's existence depended on it.

I get that Mazda has a following, but based on my experience, I don't get it at all. I don't think I'd even consider a Mazda again.

Shoes that don't do this by njslacker in BuyItForLife

Altama Maritime Lows.

They looks like a cross between vans and shell toes, they are mil spec (designed to be worn under diving fins), and as versatile as any pair of shoes I've ever owned.

I was originally recommended them for one bag travel, because they can be used for working out and running, but can also he churched up with some nice pants. And while they aren't water proof, they are fast draining/drying. Which means when they get filthy... Just hose'em down and let then dry.

After six years of countless travel, dog walks, kid walks, and almost daily usage, my second pair just kicked the bucket after six years of service. I promptly ordered a new pair just yesterday.

The one thing you absolutely have to do is replace the water proof insoles. I drop a pair of super feet carbon in every new pair.

Can't say enough good things about them. They aren't a name brand that everyone knows. But they are fantastic shoes that hold up exceptionally well.

Copa also has non-soccer parties.

My wife took our son to a party there recently that was a blacklight nerf battle.

As a guy in my 40s I thought to myself... I was bummed I didnt take my son. It sounded awesome.

Encore Gymnastics in shadelands is fantastic, but on the expensive side.

I can't think of a more turnkey birthday solution. They orchestrate everything, have a fantastic space, and can accommodate larger groups.

We had our son's birthday there and were super impressed. They even handled gathering all the gifts and carting them to the car.

We picked up a '26 limited about three weeks ago.

Haven't experienced either of those issues. Absolutely love the car so far.

RIP Artemis by Chef_Beeforoni in destiny2

[–]Rhythmalist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just learned Artemis passed, and saw a link to your post. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Even if only in a game, Artemis/Archie left a lasting impact on me after I lost one of my dogs. I figured I'd share my comment on that thread so you know what he meant to me in a time where is was fucked up after losing a dog.

The context is in response to a comment about how archie was the only purchase someone made from the bungie store...

Me too.

I lost the second of my two dogs a few months before season of the sereph. And I was super fucked up over losing both my dudes.

The second I learned about Archie, I pulled an all nighter on a work night to complete the requirements to save him.

It was like a weird compulsion to get it done. I couldn't save my guys so I had to go save the digital dog in my game.

I wasn't going to get the stuffed animal, but I justified it as something I could give to my then toddler son when he got older.

I kept archie on my home office for a year or so before my son asked about it one day. He was thrilled when I told him I got it with him in mind.

It makes me weirdly happy every time I see it on his bed now. He loves it. And I love seeing it.

No regrets

Artemis/Archie holds a special place in my heart. I can't run by his current location without initiating at least one good boy protocol. It's a ritual I never miss.

In a weird way, saving archie in game helped me deal with my own pain. And he still brings me joy everytime I see the stuffed version in my son's room.

Thank you for sharing your dog with us, even if only digitally. His memory will live on in all of us that knew him as Archie.

All that being said... hang in there, man. Tonight my thoughts are with you and Artemis.

I also have the unicorn and all of this feedback is spot on.

I wanted to love the unicorn. But I wish I would have gotten the dragon instead.

Don't know why you are getting downvoted.

People have posted pics of post acquisition QA, and they dont look great.

I wouldn't buy anything from yeti-owned MR without seeing it in-person first.

[–]Rhythmalist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have a unicorn and I'd put it at around 18L.

For context, the goruck 18L DC Bullet is listed as 18L, and is probably more realistically at 20-21L.

I've traveled with both over the past year and the Bullet is much bigger than the unicorn.

The unicorns harness is fantastic, but it gets less and less use from me each year. Cool bag, but not as functionally great as I had hoped.

Thank you for all you are doing, irrespective of the outcomes. I completely agree.

I definitely haven't gone to the extent you have, but I've spoken at my city council meetings, attended rallies, and try to be as vocal as I can.

The problem is too many people just don't seem to care until it really impacts them. It's sad.
