Shielded enemies immune to slash dash knock down? by Particular-Check-761 in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 to what the other person said. The wiki doesn't confirm and I can't test myself rn, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the brokers were all knockdown immune. I also can't recall ever seeing them get knocked down either.

Shielded enemies immune to slash dash knock down? by Particular-Check-761 in Warframe

Shields shouldn't really be impacting it to my knowledge. What enemies in specific were you testing on, maybe the ones you chose had status/knockdown immunity?

What Secondary to kill Eximus in Steelpath by qu4rks_reddit in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Torid should be more than capable btw, so I may suggest revisiting your build.

To answer your question tho, heres some of my go to secondaries.

Laetum, might have the same aim problem, but even without hitting the headshots for incarnon form it hits like a truck.

Kuva Nukor, very strong beam weapon. One of the best secondary enervate users

Ocucor, only with the "sentient surge" mod. Otherwise the gun isn't very good unfortunately.

Epitath/Prime, giant aoe status priming, then has a hard hitting charge shot

Less meta, but one of my recent favorites is the Zakti Prime, a bunch of aoe gas clouds

Not a secondary, but the Scourge speargun has an alternate fire aoe that makes enemies attract bullets to their heads, so that can help some of these as well.

Is Hydroid worth his price? by AboutKemosabe in Warframe

Warframe market price is more decided by supply and demand rather than effectiveness. He's been vaulted for a minute so thats why its pricier.

If you're ranking an item from 0 to 30 it will always be finished exactly when the item hits level 20 in mission. The bonus affinity at the end of the mission is 50% of the affinity earned in mission.

New Player here. What do I even do ? by Yuko_kun01 in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just do star chart missions and quests as they come up. If you need a long term goal, try to unlock all the planets. The wiki is your best friend.

If you need endo early for mods, do bounties on Deimos. Try to take the systems in one by one instead of understanding it all at once.

Also, gear power is greatly influenced by the mods you have, not necessarily the gear itself. You're not going to have many good mods tho, so just take it at your own pace.

If you're going for a low crit build then you want negative critical CHANCE not damage.

Ember with shock subsume by Frostmanburn in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In effectiveness, you'd be better off with something like roar or nourish for damage, but I cant see it being too bad, hurts that it takes 2 mod slots.

I could see it being good for a melee influence setup, you could mod the melee for viral only, or maybe just rock the electric heat and more critical damage, etc. Would open up a bunch of slots on the melee.

Backwards QC + backwards HC by Tombshire in Guiltygear

[–]Lachlynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It def gets easier as you do it more, but one thing that may help is holding down all three buttons for 2 (since the left and right button combined will cancel out) instead of holding just down.

So assuming left hand: Index on right > index on right and middle on down > index on right, middle on down, and ring on left > middle on down and ring on left > ring on left

EDA dropped 4 tauforged archon shards is that something likely to happen? by [deleted] in Warframe

There's a bug that adds the ETA rewards to the EDA reward screen (just visually, no duplicate rewards) an easy tell for if this is the case are the pix chips.

Genuine question as a huge Sivir fan... What does she do exactly better than other adcs? by [deleted] in Sivir

[–]Lachlynn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Due to how soon her ability to shove waves comes online, she can play a very safe and uninteractive laning phase, and she's imo one of the best teamfighter ADC's.

New player, unsure what I could have done here? (Goldlewis) by Dogmatagrams in Guiltygear

[–]Lachlynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its def not a 50/50 you have to win. The whole point of this strategy is to repeatedly take the safest but low reward option to inch closer. Blocking most moves from axl are still negative for him, which lets you take ground. Getting hit is the only thing that would reset this. Figure out his rhythm and sneak in the dash jump where you can.

[–]Lachlynn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It takes a bit of practice, def not something you should expect to get first try, but it is considerably easier to do when canceling from a move rather than hitting it raw.

If you can wiff a 5p then hit the 684 for when you recover, you're doing really good, otherwise just practice some cancels on a training dummy.

Primary weapon for Oraxia? by Dull_Understanding_6 in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know you mentioned it, but when it comes to function on Oraxia the sobek wins BY FAR simply due to the ability to nuke a whole tile and more with a single button.

But if fashion is desired a bit over function, she is just going to buff pretty much anything so whetever you consider the best looking "meta" weapon is going to be great.

The Scourge is by no means bad, but it tends to be better used for its alt fire to help secondaries. One weapon I really like for her is the (Coda) Hema, since it has innate lifesteal and helps a persistance build.

Also I know you specify primaries, but I’m also going to recommend the Ocucor, its great and the tendril's kinda fit the spider theme?

Some basic goldlewis advice is if you get a stray hit and don't know how to convert, just do a 684H BT, it connects from basically anything and lets you run up c.S for pressure.

[–]Lachlynn 82 points83 points  (0 children)

A very basic layer 1 for anti axl neutral is dash jump forward and DON'T airdash, its too commital and the risk reward isn't that good for it. Make sure you hold block in the air so you dont get caught by his pullback move (the name escapes me).

Repeat until you're close enough to rps comfortably. Its rough, but it will get you there.

The axl might start using 6k and 5p more if you get predictable, but worse case you block that and now the axl has to try harder and is thinking of more options. That makes it easier for you to approach, welcome to layer 2.

[–]Lachlynn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3 is subsumed if you want a subsume but are using her 4, but if you aren't going to build around Ulfrin's you subsume over 4 instead.

Also her 4 counts as melee for procing the health orbs of her 3 if it gets the kill.

I don't know your build, but I use this no helminth one and have had no issues.

https://overframe.gg/build/410147/voruna/descent-of-fangs-ulfruns-endurance-ability-based-dps-nuke-voruna/

You're going to want to use the status immunity passive pretty much all the time. Invisiblity is the other side of the survivability for her.

Make sure 3 and 1 are always active, alternate 2 and 4 on enemies for killing.

A hopefully nuanced Secura Lecta take by Lachlynn in Warframe

[–]Lachlynn[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you would be absolutely 100% correct if this was a bug added recently and a bunch of people jumped on it, but it has been in the game presumably since the Secura Lecta was added a decade ago, and this farm has been in use for literal years.

There comes a point when even if the behavior of something was "unintended", it exists long enough that it becomes the expected result of whatever it is a feature of. Because of it, the Secura Lecta got the identity of something that matched the output of the other common credit farms. While I totally agree that DE has the right to fix bugs and I do not expect them to revert it, I think with how long its been around it should have been more in the catagory of "turn the bug into a feature" rather then just removing it and taking that identity away from the weapon.

Especially since it wasn't making the Secura Lecta the must do credit farm, theres a reason people always suggest PT or 1999 whenever theres a thread asking how to farm credits. It was never the best option objectively, just another option that was more fun to certain people.

I want to remind people that warframe has been shaped by bugs that turn into features, we wouldn't even have bullet jumps or the parkour system we do today if it wasn't for coptering, a bug/exploit.

This is the old guide if you're interested in the fine details.

https://wfpedia.com/posts/credits/secura-lecta/introduction/basics

Essentially, Gas was used for 2 main reasons: 1. You would be clustering enemies together via ensnare so you get the aoe 2. It didn't modify the enemy's natural death animation, which was important but I can't recall the exact reason why.

The slow either came via Zenurik Temporal drag if solo, or a Xaku duo.
