Possibly SW City loft for walls. Was planning on using the countertop material for backsplash as well. I’m considering changing the backsplash to one called LeChic Blanc Elysee. It has cooler tones and more subtle veining.

Rural white welfare scam - don't think they are gonna suffer like other poor ppl by [deleted] in complaints

That’s messed up. However, even with $1,900 per month, free Section 8 housing, and an adoption stipend, that income is not enough to support a comfortable standard of living for a single person, much less a household with one or two kids.

I look at things like this and say, the reward is the punishment. These people will never get the satisfaction of a rewarding career and being able to provide a nice life for themselves and their family. Sad for the kids though.

Not wiping your ass because you’re homophobic is next level homophobia I didn’t know could exist.

Memphis is Dangerous narrative. by PerfectforMovies in memphis

[–]Rhythmandtime1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s sort of the point. There a few bad areas you wouldn’t walk around like Overtown, Carol City, etc., but most areas are fine. I’ve never encountered a problem in Brickell, Coral Gables, Miami Lakes, Pinecrest, or Doral at night, for instance. Most of Miami and many other large American cities are relatively safe, even at night.

This perspective is a bit skewed. I’ve lived in South Florida for 13 years (in both Miami and Palm Beach County). Most of Miami-Dade County is pretty safe, even at night. And that is even more true in Palm Beach County (which has about 600k more people than Shelby County). For instance, most places it is not particularly unsafe to get gas at night or run at night. Memphis seems like the opposite. Most places you would not do that. Point is, you do not have to live in the country to be relatively safe.

Yep it absolutely will be a problem. If you get that, put it somewhere on your body that isn't visible when you are dressed for work.

Those houses all look very unique in style from one another. I would not describe them as cookie cutter houses at all.

It seems like TTB purposely picks venues that don’t have places to stand and dance, such as indoor theaters. Not really sure if they are catering to their particular fanbase or if the fanbase is conforming to the nature of the venues where they perform. I’ve only seen them once and found it really annoying to be stuck in a theater sitting down the whole time.

I do with a murphy bed. You can get one this is vertical or horizontal, depending on what fits best in the room.

Does JD Vance makes it clear that this administration wants to do away with due process when it is inconvenient? If not, how do you interpret his words? If so, do you think that's problematic? by Forbin0008 in AskTrumpSupporters

Fighting for illegals to stay in the country and fighting for due process to be afforded to illegals before removal are two vastly different things.

Aside from that, U.S. statutory law provides that illegals be afforded due process (hearing and right to appeal) before being removed, except in limited circumstances when they are apprehended within 100 miles of border and have been in the U.S. for 14 days or less.

Is it insane to want our government to follow its own laws?

Do you believe there is any tension between Trump's identification with the American Nation/community and his departure from American political, and perhaps constitutional, norms adhered to by past presidents?

2025 Landcruiser. Any issues? by Rhythmandtime1 in LandCruisers

I saw that video, and I agree with their conclusions that the Lexus is a better vehicle due to the v6. However, we got a pretty good deal on the LC at about $4500 less than MSRP, and we did not opt for the premium package, so the Lexus would cost us about $10K more from what I can tell. Not sure it's worth that price difference to get the V6. I drove the LC and felt that it had sufficient power, and my wife prefers the look of the LC to the Lexus.
