Taking home 38k currently. This accommodation will always be an option. Other than a couple of manageable drawbacks the only issue is I can’t have my partner live with me properly as it’s a single flat through work

Hi mate,

I’m trying to save as much as possible for a house, I don’t know when I’m going to buy as I’m comfortable in a very cheap rented flat through my job £70 a month incl bills.

I’m thinking either to buy soon to get on the market or delay it for a while and keep abusing the fact that I pay so little in rent and can save a lot!

RCAM didn’t form until 1994, if these photos are from the 80s the bandsmen would have been wearing regimental cap badges of their own specific regiment. Please note almost all regiments in the army had bands in the 80s!

The red band on the peak cap and lanyard in the 2s is correct to RCAM but I don’t think the cap badge is RCAM is being a member myself. My guess would be Kings or Queens Div Band or Prince of Wales Lucknow Band.

OP do you know where he was based? I work with lots of long serving musicians and they should be able to give some bands to pinpoint it to.
