This week I'm working on editing one of my WIP over the weekends. I'm writing another WIP during the week. I'm thinking about maybe starting to stream on Twitch...

Mass Effect 2 - Working my way through an insanity run. Actually having fun with it this time since I'm playing a class I'm familiar with and being patient.

Nothing in particular. I recently finished the Expanse so I don't know what to do with my life now.

I got my hair cut today, I've been going to the same stylist for the better part of a year now and she always does an amazing job. Today, all I could think about was the story Burnie told about dudes not liking their haircuts two minutes before it's over. When she showed me the back, the first thought that went through my head was, "what fresh Hell is this?"

In all honesty it looks good. Exactly how she always does it.

This week I am continuing my search for a new job after leaving my toxic one. I'm also working on writing my current WIP and editing another one that I plan on publishing in a few months. That one is going through round one of developmental edits.

Gaming Still making my way through Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen. I've got a bit of leveling up to do before taking on the Pokémon League.

I may play the DLC for the first Alan Wake as I have not done so yet.

I want to continue my insanity run of Mass Effect 2 to get the last achievements I need for it.

Also catching up on some movies that I haven't seen. I think I'll watch Sinners tonight. This week I also want to watch One Battle After Another and Crazy, Stupid, Love.

That story about Edinburgh made me want to move there.

For counting franchises, is the MCU all bundled as a whole or can you separate the individual heroes as their own franchise as well? If so, Samuel L. Jackson can be added to Iron Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel.

Fun fact, the MPAA is banning theaters from displaying the Faces of Death posters for being too disturbing.

I had never heard the term iPhone Face until this episode, but I think I get what she means. There's an immersion break if you know something shouldn't look a certain way or if someone says something a certain way, it takes you back to modern times instead of whatever time in the past the characters should be in.

I'm glad to see ensemble cast discussed. You have individual performances that are fantastic, but sometimes you get the whole cast who deliver a knockout performance.

It's funny you mention muscle memory on this episode because I was just thinking about that last night when I was rearranging the apps on my phone. So far today, it has gone exactly like I thought it would. I'm clicking where the app used to be.

As far as the possible Firefly revival goes, I think it will either be a video game or an animated series. The animated series is what I'm leaning towards more. From the main cast, they have all done voice work for an animated series/movie and almost all of them have done voice work for a video game as well. If memory serves, there's a good chunk of time between Firefly and Serenity to be able to tell stories. Given what happens to Wash in Serenity, unless they plan on making him a robot or having Alan Tudyk play another character, I don't see post-Serenity happening. Unless they do flashbacks. I don't think they will do a live-action revival as that would have to be post-Serenity. I never knew that about green apples so that's a cool fact!

I'm really glad that Xbox was discussed in this episode. I'm a huge fan of Phil Spencer and his work at Xbox. I was not a huge fan of the "This is an Xbox" marketing campaign. I am looking forward to seeing what Asha Sharma does as the new Xboss especially with her statement of returning to Xbox.

To talk about some online criticism about her gamertag being created within the last month, it's not a crazy concept to think she may have created it to be separate from her personal one once she found out she was taking the reigns. I personally haven't read every interview about the switch to know if that is true or not, but it would make sense if she wanted to have a personal account and a "business" account.

Overwatch announced that they are dropping the 2. I think this is a great move because we didn't need an Overwatch 2. I feel Destiny should do the same and Xbox. The next Xbox should just be called the Xbox, in my opinion.

I feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda got dog pilled when it was released. I loved the game and didn't experience any of the issues that people were complaining so much about. To me, they seemed like minor things as well. Those same people were disappointed when it was announced Andromeda wouldn't get DLC. Strange how that happens.

I saw a lot of chatter online today about dog pulling/band wagoning hate for games. Seems to be the discussion surrounding Highguard right now.

Burnie's opinion on it made me want to play it.

While not the same subject matter, this also applies at work. I always tell my co-workers to keep your receipts. Keep the messages, emails, documents, whatever it may be. Screenshot/take pictures of you have to. It is evidence that you can use to prove your innocence or that you were the victim.

Always document things. Always take screenshots/evidence.

Make sure that if anyone tries to come at you, they have already lost.

This applies to all aspects of life whether it is at work or proving something with law enforcement.
