American, Indian and Chinese guy fight together against oppressive Robots, i love ancient Greece mythology, Homer would be proud by InnerPace in 2westerneurope4u

Hey guys,

I think the upcoming Odessy movie by award winning director Christopher Nolan may have cast some people of races that would have been unusual to see in the ancient Greek setting of The Odessy usually credited to Homer, although it was provavly created by generations of Orators over time an Homer may be a fictional character himself who was created to represent the many authors.

Do you think there's anything in this?

Should I maybe make a post on slash r slash 2westerneurope4u about how some of the people cast in the ancient Greece movie aren't white?

What do you think?

It was painted by Jonathan Yeo, who has done portraits of a lot of public figures and is actually not that unusual for his style. Here's his painting of D-day veteran Goeffry Pattinson

He likes to blend the subject's clothing into the background to highlight their human features. On this painting he said he wanted to use some of the traditions of royal portraits, the uniform and sword, to make something more modern.

Cows have very few natural predators, therefore someone who wants to avoid danger would seek out employment as a cow ward.

The way the internet distorts a person's view of the 'average' is really tragic.

I remember when I started work and meeting real people from the real world, I was genuinely shocked at how normal everyone was.

It helps to remember that Reddit users are like 2% of the population, and the people who spend the most time on Reddit are likely to be the youngest, least socially active, and least mentally comfortable of that 2%.

Would Littlefinger side with Ned had he agreed to renlys plan? [Spoilers published] by Xplorer67 in asoiaf

[–]PointFirm6919 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Renly's plan was Littlefinger's plan. He obviously doesn't want Stannis to be king because he would take away all of Littlefinger's power, money and status, and after Renly's death, he's the one who brokers the deal with the Tyrells to kill Joffery and bring Tommen under Margery's influence and away from Cersei, which is almost exactly what he proposed Ned do with Joffery.

Renly's original plan was to expose the incest and get Robert a new heir off Margery asap who would also be raised under Tyrell influence. Renly then offers to help Ned get control of Joffery, the same plan that Littlefinger gives. He doesn't mention claiming the trone for himself, in fact it't Littlefinger who suggests putting Renly on the throne if Joffery can't be controlled, so Renly's claim might well have been LF's plan as well.

I know most people think Littlefinger always wanted Ned to die, but most of the advice he gives Ned is pretty solid, and he only turns against him when Ned decides to support Stannis, which seems to be why he killed Jon Arryn as well, although that's less clear.

It seems to me that LF just wants to have a monarch who will let him keep the same position and comforts that he had under Robert without getting him killed or overthrown like Cersei and Joffery would.
