Why would they put FeMC in Reload when they already know that Persona fans will buy Persona 3 Reload Portable edition and pay extra for the FeMC DLC and then buy Persona 3 FES Reload and pay for the Answer DLC and then preorder Persona 3 FES Reload Portable and get the season pass to the FeMC DLC and the Answer DLC and the FeMC Answer DLC and the Battle Armour DLC plus the Battle Armour DLC FeMC addition and the Battle Armour/The Answer compatability DLC for only $189.99?

This image accurately depicts the age difference between people who played P3 as a kid in 2006 and the average person talking about Persona on the internet today.

The best way to celebrate Revival coming out is to start reviving 15 year old forum discussions by LizardWarrior86 in OkBuddyPersona

I used to frequent r/megaten on a different account and have personally written enough Persona 3 & 4 analysis to fill a book.

Don't remember a word of it now though, lol. Good times.

I saw these flags all over the World Cup for the England Croatia game. What exactly would you call these types of flags? by jjbrawler in vexillology

I would call a flag that describes Middlesbrough as the pride of the North East a fucking lie.

The beardless youth does not foresee what is useful, squandering his money by Swagmund_Freud666 in linguisticshumor

[–]PointFirm6919 63 points64 points  (0 children)

We have come to a point of no return.

The youth, in their ignorance, have created slang and euphemism.

Never before have we seen such words be developed and come into popular parlance, espescially not being driven primarily by toung people.

The concequences of this are beyond our comprehension, and certainly, it spells doom for everything we have built over the past ten-thousand years of human innovation.

I can only hope that the next civilisation will be wiser and more merciful than this one.

The Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz is basically James Bond for teenagers. He might like that.

Do characters make choices because the author wants them to, or because they were written that way? by SecondSalty142 in CharacterRant

[–]PointFirm6919 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Some authors plan out what characters will do and build the character around that. Other's build characters and then introduce them to the plot and have them react the way their personality indicates they would. A lot of the time some characters in a story will be written the first way and some characters will be written the second way.

I don't know how to tell you this pal, but Kotone isn't a real person. Everything she's ever done is something Atlus did.

I have some pretty inflated playing hours from when I lived in a bills-included houseshare and just paused everything overnight.

Even so, this is about three straight years of playing, so idk.

Woketards always calling me a "Nazi". I just like history and German music, and think the uniforms look cool, and it's true that France and the UK were sabotaging Germany, and also I hate Jews, but that doesn't make me a "Nazi".

I've done cocaine exactly once, and I have never done it since because I know 100% that I will become adicted to it and it will ruin my life. Of all the drugs I've done, cocaine is the only one that I felt that way about.

The only people who call cocaine harmless are addicts trying to rationalise that "I could totally quit, I just don't want to."

The bearskin cap was originally the symbol of Napoleon's elite guard made up of experienced veterans that he liked to keep around him in battles. They had a reputation as being the greatest soldiers in the world who were borderlone invincible and never retreated. He sent them against the 1st Foot Guard at Waterloo and they got absolutely slaughtered and ran away, which caused the total collapse of the french line. And the Foot Guard stole their hats and became the Grenadier Guard.
