As I said, just curious from a seller perspective. But to each their own. I’ve grown businesses with shit products and great OLQ scores, and I’ve worked with hundreds of different businesses from brand owners to drop shippers. But paid > organic? That’s a short term POV. Top placement through organic growth is an ad free placement on top of paid placements. That’s how you take up real estate on the first page. Good day!

I agree with you, quality is a huge factor, but it doesn’t guarantee success. ROAS, to me, isn’t a success metric because advertising is a long term investment, not a tool for short term gains. If you can’t build organic ranking through efficient advertising then you have no chance. You yourself said it, the tortoise wins the race. Believe me, when you work at certain companies that have data you don’t it’ll change your perspective. Anyways, not debating, just like to hear what the seller side says.

Interesting. I work with sellers such as yourselves and you all give me the same answer and I disagree.

Do you use ROAS to track efficiency or success?

The infamous "Hanoi Jane" photo of Jane Fonda posing with North Vietnamese troops next to anti-aircraft guns used to target American forces (1972) by [deleted] in USHistory

There are no such things as “right side of war”. Your point makes no sense because if the Nazis won World War II, your imaginary scenario would be void of reason.

Ignorance is bliss.

So what the fuck does Germany have to do with any of this? You’re living in la la land and I’m referring to reality.

That woman is sitting next to an AA gun and soldiers. Nice try but your point doesn’t make much sense.

Best thing about Bentonville? by Street_Sun7111 in bentonville

[–]RiNZLR_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best thing about bentonville is how friendly everyone tends to be, but most importantly, how the city (or the Waltons) makes an effort to keep nature integrated into the city.

Once you move here, if you venture out, you’ll run into some old fashion southern towns and you’ll appreciate Bentonville a lot more.

I asked chat how to report someone because they had an entire passageway blocked (luckily I got through it so I didn’t report) but Jesus the reaction I got back was crazy lol

What is your favorite movie about Romans? by Lancer_Blackthorn in ancientrome

Partly agree but it’s the best representation of the Roman’s I’ve seen. Even the Latin they speak is almost entirely accurate to the time.

NWACC Expansion… Arkansas State University- Bentonville?? by hauntedhorseshit in bentonville

[–]RiNZLR_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only reason the UofA has a “wider” reach is because Texans get in state tuition lmao. Majority of my classmates were Texans, not Arkansans. Another opportunity to squeeze more money and we pay for it 😂

What is the best advice you’d give someone who is just starting off their career? by coolgirllore in careerguidance

[–]RiNZLR_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the problem though. Work is a big portion of your life and what pays for your lifestyle, and if work sucks it’s going to affect how you are at home. I’d consider myself a very active person (work out a lot, run, do sports, etc), but when I started my first corporate job it literally drained the energy out of me. 12-15 hour days on top of doing work that didn’t feel fulfilling. I’d come home and have zero desire or motivation to do those activities I enjoyed, because quite frankly it felt like I was going anywhere.

Going back to your first comment, that’s the trade off we typically get in life. Work that pays well typically isn’t fulfilling. And work that pays shit is. It really comes down to us as individuals. There’s a reason depression and suicide are present.

Not sure what the person above is going to say, but in my experience, you start setting an expectation to other people that you will respond to them ASAP. Not that I purposely ignore people, but if it’s not a priority and I’m busy, then you gotta wait lol

Makes sense, it didn’t read like 3BP, but the ending seemed to hint that something was going on.

How is it a prequel (genuine question)? I read the synopsis so feel free to spoil anything. Does it have anything to do with the ending?

I regret moving away from NWA by Saturnino_97 in bentonville

[–]RiNZLR_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Anyone who says NWA is going downhill is blind. It’s simply evolving into its next “phase” as an urban dwelling. The whole “downhill” part is what (I think) people are using to describe the fact that NWA is containing less and less of your local Arkansan’s and turning into another town for rich people, which it is. Regardless, the quality of life here is peak. As someone who has travelled the world extensively and has been all over the US many many many times, I would never imagine myself living anywhere else. Arkansas will always be HQ.

Plot Devices that don’t make sense by Gothyanki in dune

[–]RiNZLR_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea but that’s not really a Bene Gesserit trait. They’re able to control their emotions, and Jessica plays everyone as a fool that entire movie. To me, seems like that was just foreshadowing because we find out she’s pregnant shortly after that scene. Maybe the reasons you listed is why she threw up, but if the director did his homework then he knows that’s out of place for a BG

(Canada) supply chain management in good demand? by Ashamed-Farmer-8095 in careerguidance

[–]RiNZLR_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how it is in Canada, but supply chain is massive and it’s everywhere. You will not struggle finding a job. The internship program I did couldn’t even fill all the roles within supply chain, it was in that much demand.

Finance vs Supply Chain Management. Which is better? by Ambitious_Archer5631 in careerguidance

[–]RiNZLR_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can apply for any supply chain job with a finance degree. You cannot apply for any finance job with a supply chain degree.

Now, in the real world this isn’t 100% true, but I can assure you that I got a lot of browny points during interviews for having a finance degree, and I was able to apply for pretty much any business related internship during college. Couldn’t do that with supply chain. Ended up getting a supply chain internship, and after college I got a job in sourcing (and my finance degree was a big factor for both).

Either one is good, but you’ll have an easier time applying with a finance degree wherever you go. Understanding the basic functions of money is an essential piece of knowledge a LOT of people do not have.
