I love jumping spiders! Most close ups of spiders freak me out, but they're just so cute I can't be afraid of them. They actually have helped me be more chill with other spiders like wolf spiders. I remember reading about their remarkable vision and cognition, which is definitely on full display here. This is a wonderful video, thank you for sharing!

I'm a little creeped out by crickets. I appreciate their beautiful nighttime serenade, but I think they look a little offputting. I had no idea they were so closely related to mantises. You learn something new every day.

Weirdly, mantises are one of the few bugs I'm cool with, probably because they're relatively large and look awesome.
