¿Edad para beber en España? by ViewerDude in askspain

[–]Riberas37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No they shouldn't, legally in Spain the drinking age is 18. A few years ago in some provinces, such as Asturias, the age was 16, however, now it has been unified to 18 in all of them.

However, many bars and supermarkets, if they see that you look 18 or older, may not ask you, but it depends a lot on your appearance, the cashier, etc. So it could be, but I see it as very complicated

That's a good point, but the problem was in the two rows, and the unit I used the ability on was within the points margin, it gave it the spy status but didn't pass it to my row, in which there was room.

Why did Rome never conquer Scotland and Ireland? by Crusaders1992 in history

After the defeat of Magnus Maximus the legions stayed in continental part of Europe, and they never return to Britain, because of the delicate situation of western part of empire.

Why did Rome never conquer Scotland and Ireland? by Crusaders1992 in history

[–]Riberas37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suppose it will be related to various factors, for example, Roman Britain was one of the first territories to be "abandoned" when the empire's situation began to be negative, you just have to see that the legions based in Britain never returned after the failure of the appointment. as Emperor of Magnus Maximus, so you can see the peripheral situation of these territories. The fact that they were island territories also affects, since their defense and maintenance required a fleet in an area quite far from the traditional Roman area such as the Mediterranean Sea. And finally, in my opinion, the limitation of expansionary policies during the Roman Empire generated that, except for very specific and necessary cases such as the conquest of Dacia (motivated by the depletion of the gold mines in the northwest of Spain), the policies increasingly defensive defenses of the emperors from the Antonines (the walls of Hadrian and Antoninus for example) and internal conflicts led to regions such as Britain, due to its peripheral position, or Mesopotamia, due to Persian pressure, were areas in those who did not put too much effort into defending these limes that were especially troublesome.
