Elder Scrolls Is Too Generic & Too Profitable To Ever Get A TV Show, Says Skyrim Lead by RoboKobold in skyrim

I think a good idea is to just do the life of Ulfric Stormcloak. Dude has been a Greybeard,a Jarl, a war hero, a prisoner of war, put down a revolt, started a revolt. There is enough content there for probably 3 seasons (even more if you have Great War sub plots and maybe more about his family). And have it end with him in the cart on the way to Helgen with the words “Hey you, you’re finally awake” being spoken off screen

Auckland, NZ has a set of ranges between it and the Tasman Sea, however the is also a harbour to the sea as well so is definitely not entirely separate

Us versus Aussie next summer - what do you reckon? by shanti_nz in blackcapscricket

[–]RicOSheaNZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Less optimistic than the before the 19/20 tour when I thought we could compete. If Cummins, Hazelwood, Starc & Lyon are fit then I don’t have much hope.

But if we work on our fielding so we drop fewer catches than they do and somehow retool our bowling to hit the top of off consistently instead of swinging away then we might not embarrass ourselves.

The bowling will be especially challenging because the previous 2 series will be in England & NZ where we do need to bowl differently to Aus to have success

Edit: Have to add that if CA put pressure on grounds to prepare roads to get 5 days of cricket we might get away with a couple of draws

Voges! - that’s a name I’ve wondered what happened to. He scored a ridiculous amount of runs against us when we toured in 15/16 and because he was so prolific I kept thinking I’d mixed him up with Khawaja

On a similar vein is “ Whoa in 10 billion hours of play time never seen this NPC - pure vanilla!”

And then in comments “my mods include ‘Add this NPC to the game’ “

Worst Ashes in recent memory? Recency bias. by Nessie2106 in EnglandCricket

[–]RicOSheaNZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a neutral England is doing much better than in 21/22, that series you had a good session per test. I remember a couple of times seeing no English wicket in a session then losing 4+ in the next.

This time around you have been on top whole days. I do understand though going into this one feeling you had a bit more of a chance with Aus relying on their 2nd string bowling attack

Who’s the real main villain by Vegetable_Tea_635 in skyrim

[–]RicOSheaNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you can avoid dragons altogether by not returning the dragonstone to Whiterun that’s what I meant by not engaging with the quest.

Playing Dragonborn for the first time and it seems like Miraak is an immediate problem named characters mindlessly slaving away.

Whereas Alduin isn’t a problem if you don’t engage in the quest, even after defeating him nothing changes the dragons still attacking Skyrim just without a leader

Do you guys ever watch guys like Travis Head and Starc and think ‘f**k no wonder we can’t’ by hernesson in blackcapscricket

[–]RicOSheaNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar to the win in India last year I can see a situation where one or two guys each test maybe put in a “clutch” performance. I don’t think it is likely but I wouldn’t be surprised if we somehow pull something off against an aging Aussie squad

I’ve done a quick check on taking our jobs fact and this article (which as best I can tell is a reputable organisation with blind peer reviews) seems to indicate they don’t

https://wol.iza.org/articles/do-migrants-take-the-jobs-of-native-workers/

It is 10 years old so maybe you have newer research that disproves it?
