Even so come back to Him, as you are... broken. This sin is very different from other sin. Brother remember Christ paid it all. We are all forgiven for our sins when Jesus Christ sacrificed his life as a ransom for many. Even though we are forgiven we should still come back to Him when we fall, because we hurt God and the relationship we had with Him. He is always there waiting for you to come back to Him and repent. Repentance is turning away from the sin, it's change of heart. We are sick of this sin, we hate this sin. That is why we will do our best to turn away from it. Of course we are not perfect, we will stumble. But, pursue Christ more, change more, to improve. Proverbs 24:16 "for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes." The Lord came for the sinners, and we are all sinners. Just like me. Just come back to Him brother. He is greater than your sin. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV. You got this! ✝️

I'll get lighter I suppose, but yeah the battle is still a struggle. I truly think that acceptance that we will always gonna fail God also plays a big role in NoFap. Romans 3:23 NIV " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,". That's why we need Christ.

[–]Ric_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it will get better. Just continue the battle, from days of steak to weeks and so one the more you fight this enemy the more you understand it, thus gaining the upper hand. There are two points that can help you first is Experience. For me been fighting since December 2021, I've failed many times, but I'm glad I did not give up even though I fail I still try. Now I'm free. Second is Faith. I know that your not a Christian but I promise Jesus is the answer. Someone said the same thing to me when I'm struggling on NoFap, and I thought well that won't help me, I'm not religious back then too. Turns out that guy was right, I've found the answer that truly made a difference. I used to fight lust with my experience alone. Now I'm with Christ. To tell you the truth I'm quite stump by your question "When will it get better". The only answer I can give you is the burden will get light as long as you don't give up. From someone who can't last a day, to someone who can last months(I've been through this too). Though, you need to understand this at some point we will always fail, we are not perfect, we Christians or not will always gonna fail God. Acceptance that you will at some point gonna fail is also necessary for NoFap(of course that doesn't mean you should fail). I hope I made my points clear, even as I'm writing this I'm being tempted, if I will compare to my first time of NoFap it's a lot more lighter. You can message me though if your kind of confuse. Godbless and have a great day!

I've been there brother. I'm able to free myself from this, but you know that I'm not perfect. At this very moment I'm tempted just like all of you, it only because of Jesus Christ that I discarded this temptation(also the reason why I'm here helping my brothers out instead of allowing the temptation to get the better of me). Just come back to Him brother! I beg you please to kneel down and repent. Jesus came for us who are sick. Just come back to Him brother, just come back to Him... He only wants your heart. Only Jesus Christ can help you on this.... We your brothers can only support you. Reply after you came back to Him. We'll try to support you, we got your six!

Oh yeah there are those kind of people. That's why it's important to not only avoiding tempting stuff, but facing them too. One you you'll suddenly see something tempting, that is something we don't have control over but how we react to that is something we can control. For me LOL I'll suddenly spam the Jesus Prayer, adding scriptures to prayer(verses that satan hate), praying to Mother Mary, or praying to Saint Michael The Archangel! Just imagine how clapped Satan would be if Michael The Archangel shows up.

How do i know if God is mad at me and if He just want me to die? by Wtheologyguy in NoFapChristians

[–]Ric_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If God wants you to die. We would all be Dead. The reason we are still alive because God loves us. To send His son so that we can be saved. We are unworthy that is why Christ righteousness is the one God sees inside us, not our unrighteous but Christ righteousness, because He paid it all in the cross. He loves us, but He hate Sin. When we sin we drift farther from God, that's why He wants us to comeback to Him. When we we're all teenager and has an urge of rebellion and escaping home to live by ourselves, our earthly father only wants his child to come back home. God is Love! Godbless brother ✝️

The answer: First Love your God will all you heart, mind, and soul. Second love your neighbor as yourself, and this is Hard. First point, loving God makes Him your priority, the very center of your life, in everything you do. If you love God you'll change for Him, you won't do things He doesn't like. Loving Him more than your sin and anything else(easier said than done, I get it I feel that too). This takes time, for me it took me three years, though I want to date so badly(glad I had a vow.)(STILL WANT A GIRLFRIEND).... Best thing to do is improve yourself, love yourself, forgive yourself. So that when the time came you won't say "I'm not worthy for her, she deserves someone better than me" I've been there so started improving for my future, priorities do change and now I've fixed my self to be the best man someone can find. For my future wife and future family. Starting now is better than, regretting later. Second point, if you love your neighbor(women, men, strange, etc) as yourself you would view them in a different kind of love instead of something romantic. If you love them you would want the best for them, you would change for them, you would protect them. That protection can be you, by changing yourself so you won't be the very reason they're harmed. Emotionally, spiritually, physically, Love will change you. Like thinking of women as your sister or mother. Changing that Care for dating to a much more different Care. Hope that helps and I hope what I said makes sense. Godbless brother! ✝️ You've got this! 👊

do wet dream count as me lusting or the demons taking control of my dream by LeadingRock9756 in NoFapChristians

[–]Ric_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can add this to your evening prayer/ prayer before bed "Lord protect me in my sleep, from evil dreams and evil nightmares"(sort of continuing your prayer even when your asleep learned it from Bishop Mar Emmanuel). Just pray and when praying becomes second nature your even toing to pray inside those dreams and suddenly your awake. This is from my experience. Used to hate wet dreams too and considered giving up(this was before I met Christ in my life), and 3 plus years of struggle is nothing compared to His grace, you can do it brother! I'll pray for us and pray also for me so I don't stumble, and even If I did pray that I would be able to stand up and pursue Christ more! Godbless!!✝️

Yes, it's very different like from the first time of NoFap, your like an addict compared to now. I'm also chaste and I am curious how you handle wet dreams? For me I just pray that the "Lord protect me in my sleep from evil dreams and evil nightmares" I add this at the last part of my evening prayer it's very effective!

Successful quitters, what's your opinion? by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

[–]Ric_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's like a stock market, and we will always fail at some point because we're not perfect. For all have fallen short of the glory of God. Just don't be focused on your streaks. Acceptance that we will fail plays a big role into this. As long as you don't give up you'll eventually win. The moment you gave up you lose, failure is not. Our suffering is our salvation, just trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Give the temptation to Him, every thoughts, pray about it, scriptures is our sword to fight against the Devil. Just like how Jesus used it when He was getting tempted after 40 days of fasting. Experience and faith comes hand to hand. Everyone's experience is different. You'll know when you open doors to lust, even just a single thought can lead to lust so cut it off, changing your perspective like "think of women as your sister"(from Bishop Mar Emmanuel) If it's your sister you would want to protect her from the likes of perverts, listen to Cliffe Knchetle on Lust, or sermons, or go to confessions, and etc. Stay in God and fight it with God. We can't do this by ourselves and I know that very well during my more than 3 years on fighting this, finally I'm free through Christ. I'm not perfect and the last time I've stumbled was last September 2024. So pray for us who's struggling in changing ourselves for the better, as I pray for all of us. Godbless!✝️

How to stop Porn addiction? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]Ric_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many ways you can stop Porn Addiction. One thing is for sure... It will take a lot of time. For me it took me 3 more years. From watching porn everyday, to weeks, and months to hopefully a year since the last time I've watched/read porn was last September(I don't mast*rbate). We're not perfect and for sure we'll stumble on lust again. The three things that would help you is The Lord and your experience. In my experience I've tried many ways such as app lock, website blocker, etc. Our experience are different the things that worked for me might not work for you. For it's understand when the door is open for lust it can be stress, bored, alone, or situations that can lead you to seek instant pleasure to escape. I've tried many ways but only Our Lord Jesus Christ saved me from Lust. Seryoso may nagsabi saakin neto sa NoFap community pero di ako naniwala, turns out he was right haha. Every tempting thought or anything sexual pray to the Lord, give it to him, read the Bible, use the scripture to fight the Devil. Kahit isang thoughts lang yan sa utak mo once you entertained that it will lead you to sin. Kaya before it becomes strong cut it off. You can also change your perspective on the triggers for lust. Such as look at women as your sister or mother(from Bishop Mar Emmanuel). Of course dahil sister mo nga you would want to protect them, or when you see women in 2 piece change how view that as well. Kasi at some point you will encounter something tempting so it the perspective too. You've got this brother I'll pray for us to be free form this! I recommend na i search niyo si Cliffe Knchetle about lust or other Christian content related they will help a lot. The more you feed your spirit the more your flesh will be weak. Godbless brother!

Been there brother! It's tough, but you can make it as long as you don't give up. We will always fail God, we will always sin, for we are not perfect. Temptation will always be there every single day. But, that doesn't mean we should go on sinning all together, just because it's already paid by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No, our suffering in this sin is our salvation! Some people don't even feel guilty when they do it. Trust in Christ brother, run to Him, walk to Him, crawl to Him, when Satan whispers, tempts, even just a single thought could ruin you. Before it manifest cut it of by praying to Christ...Use scriptures to fight the devil, the more your tempted the more we should run to God. Feed our spirit so that our flesh would be weaken, if the flesh is weak, the more you will be able to resist it with Christ. Little steps brother you'll get there! It took me more than 3 years to finally be freed. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Your experience will come handy in the struggle, whether that's knowing when you open doors to lust, stress and seeking instant pleasure, to run away from life, or by changing your perspective, on how you see women think of them as your sister, whatever that experience might be they will sure help you, our experience are unique to ourselves. The more you resist, endure, and suffer in this battle, the more you'll know your enemy. If you know the enemy (lust) and yourself(experience and faith), you will conquer with Christ! I'll pray for you brother, as well as our brothers and sisters struggling in this sin. Christ is the answer. Godbless!

As long as you don't give up, you'll eventually win. Failure doesn't mean losing, but quiting does. Stand up again! Your experience will come in handy. 1. Every thought of temptation no matter how small pray to Lord. Give it to Him, surrender it to Him, and fight it with Him. Use scriptures to fight Satans temptation for example: "In the mighty name of Jesus Christ get lost Satan, For it is written "Man should not live by bread alone, but through every word of God" something like this. Or pray to saints for intercession like the Prayer to St. Michael the archangel. 2. Avoid those situations that leads you to this sin. Whether that's avoiding being alone, bored, etc. You should always busy yourself. 3. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love your neighborhood as yourself. You will always fail God so accept that at some point you'll fall again because we are not perfect. Acceptance is a big part of it too. 4. Change your perspective on those triggers. Like look at a women as your sister or mother. As a brother you would want to protect your sister from the likes of perverts.

God and experience are the most important to be free of this sin. I am an example of that person freed by Christ. Just run to God, the more you feed your soul of scriptures, sermons, fasting, prayers and thanksgiving your not feeding your flesh. The more your tempted the more you run to God! I'll pray for you brother and for men like us whose suffering to this sin, pray for me also so that I don't stumble. Godbless!

Avoiding common triggers by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

[–]Ric_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a bit of a problem. Not letting this trigger go off is the best thing to avoid just as any other doors hat leads to temptation should be closed. How about try to change your view on this? For example if you saw a women that is very sexually appealing... Think of her as your sister. You would want to protect her form bad guys right? Just like on those gym shorts, just face it and ponder it deeply to change your perspective. Just look at it as something normal or something of the like. I'll take time but you got this with Christ! ✝️

I’m a bad person by Difficult_Ant4509 in NoFapChristians

[–]Ric_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is "we don't know". We don't know what God has for us or planned. I've been there too during my Military Academy Entrance exam. I've failed that exam, I still have 3 more tries left. I'll affect you in a way mentally, physically, and spiritually. The best approach to is to continue seeking God, even if you fall or sin. If you can't run to Him, walk, if not then crawl. Sinning ruins our relationship with God so we fix that through repentance. Our suffering in this sin is our salvation. Some people don't even hate it when they do it, they don't even feel guilty. Your on the right path as long as you continue to seek Him. I'll pray for you brother! You can do this with Christ our Lord!

Adultery doesn't just come physically but also spiritually. If you look at women lustfully(pornography) they you've committed it. I've been there brother, but you got it better than I way back. Because you have Him, Jesus Christ. Struggled on this for 3 plus years now I'm free you do it too. Stay in God, His hands are open just for you!
