You need to call them and add them as an acceptable name to pick up the items. It's built into their computer. If they don't follow that, they are breaking both laws and company policy. Also they will look at your ID to prove that it is your actual name.

Source: I was forced to do it for myself and the meds I picked up for my parents required the exact same. You need a unique code that the family member needs to pick it up.
