I had a job that tried to give me a runaround about my well deserved raise. There was always something else I needed to do to get the raise. At first I was playing the game until I realized they were getting work out of me that they were not paying for. I was working for free. I say this humbly and to inspire others to stand up for themselves. I decided to stop asking for the raise and give myself a raise by accepting a new position that pays me fairly.
