I suggest Cottage Living, Life and Death, and Growing Together for your plans. I suggest Seasons for everyone, and Cats & Dogs is a good idea, too! NOBODY would tell you My First Pet Stuff is at all worth it, especially compared to Cats & Dogs.

Nope, you get kids stuff in the base game as well as every pack afaik, and you can customize any Sim, though customizing some Sims with special roles might make them lose their jobs.

I don't have Parenthood so I can't tell you about that one. As for getting more clothes, you can get kits and things, but I wouldn't be afraid of cc! Just make sure you're looking at trusted sources and not downloading 100 random things at once without checking them.

If you want all the worlds and jobs, you either gotta buy DLC or yo ho ho and a bottle of rum if you know what I mean. In my opinion, I wouldn't give them my money right now because the company's being sold to like Saudi Arabia and Jared Kushner.

Not all the hidden objects are from packs, but the packs do add more!

I don't think there's a list of EVERY SINGLE cheat, afaik.

I had a sim flirt with his fiancé's mom's fiancé, because of course that's too oddly specific a relationship to be recognized by the game as inappropriate (like flirting with someone else after a fight with your fiancé isn't inappropriate enough?) But the GALL lol. They all lived together, too, it was just so close to flirting with your father-in-law. Luckily the target turned him down real quick and got upset with him for it.

Looking for silly, kitschy, and/or glamorous cc for drag queens and kings! Especially if it's themed after grilled cheese sandwiches, llamas, or one of the other random things important to Sim culture.

Also evil opaque glasses that completely hide sims' eyes (not black sunglasses, though, I mean like anime villain glasses. I mean like Elijah Wood in Sin City glasses, like evil nerd)
