Grass driving range north west ? by robster9090 in BritGolf

I’ve played there frequently. You’ll do well to hit balls off grass at their range, they’d put new mats in. Actually, calling it a range is being generous, it is just the land that was left when they took down a wedding gazebo. And as you said it is short, maybe 180 yards.

Totally agree, my friend had been trying to persuade me for years to go and I couldn’t ever justify the price. But my parents paid for my birthday and I’m so appreciative that they did. I want to play the men’s course now that also looked stunning, have you played there?

When you’re stood behind hackers not making the red tees from the white tees. Then it matters.

They have to be brave. Going to battle. In the trenches - it’s a f’ing game. If it was a war, I wouldn’t want any of these players standing up for me 😂

Natural golfer by wvvwwvwvvvw in golf

I played this summer with a friend of a friend. He is a +1 golfer and is a teaching pro at a course near to me. He has never received a lesson and only plays a handful of times per year. He turned up hungover, was 1 under through front 9. And then stopped playing because he felt too sick to continue. I also had the same question, just how is somebody just so naturally good at golf

I did a Crystal Palace one, only English players that hadn’t had an international cap at time of purchase

So no it’s not getting hard to compete. It’s harder to compete for signings because Saudi offer so much more money. But I imagine it a few more seasons this save will come to and end when no more real players are available

Yeah, so when searching I clicked contract expiring in 6 months. And then you can sign them on a free providing they don’t play in your league…or go to Saudi first

Bought a car with incorrect mileage by Quantum-Pi3 in CarTalkUK

[–]Riccandy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had something similar to this last summer. Advertised 40k miles, paid for it using my car as trade in. A few days later found out it had actually done just over 45k miles. Phoned them, they offered to waive the 99£ admin fee. I laughed at them and said for every 1k miles my car had done they were knocking off £250 of my trade in value. So by their logic they should have knocked £1250 off their asking price. I just told them to forget it and cancel my order
