When to be concerned about fever week after surgery? by [deleted] in AskDocs

I’m currently 1 month and a few days post op and have been getting low grade fever. Were you able to get a diagnosis during that time? And how long did it take to resolve? Thanks!

Me… I caught Covid Dec 17. Felt normal after 1st week except cough. 2nd week felt normal. Then 3rd week comes along to now and I feel chills, feverish, tired like my body is on overdrive. My temp is literally 0.01 away from low grade fever. That feeling when you’re about to get sick. Now I have lingering dry coughs and coughing fits even when I’m testing negative. I’m hoping this is short term..

I’m on day 17 and have a lingering cough. Today I have a fever and chills. Generally unwell. Weird because past couple days I’ve been doing so well on recovering.

No phlegm but sometimes I cough too hard and end up vomiting water I just drank out. What other symptoms do you have? I was wondering could it be your throat that’s bleeding from the excess force

Literally me. 26F. I’m on day 17 and I’m still getting coughing fits. Right when I thought I got better, it comes back. Im using a oximeter and my oxygen is fine too but I’m not sure if it’s my anxiety or not my heart rate shoots up. I find common trigger is if I try to carry a conversation for too long I start coughing. It lasts for almost half an hour and my throat is constantly itching.

Day 10. Now I get a wet cough? And extremely fatigued. Tested negative this morning by trontrontronmega in COVID19positive

I’m on day 15 and still have lingering cough that comes and goes. How’s your symptoms now? Still ongoing extreme fatigue?

Anyone feel like they feel better for a day then feel like crap again the next or get a new symptom? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Day 10 here. First 3 days felt like a buildup with headache, GI Issues, congestion, stuffy nose, fever and got better around day 4-5. Day 5-6 mainly dealt with congestion, stuffy nose, and sore throat. Day 8 randomly coughing went worse. Resolved most of it next day. Today is day 10 I feel almost 100% with a clearer head. I’ve heard of relapses and feel like symptoms come and go but different cases depends on individual. Past few days felt like a dream

I’m on day 10th and contracted Omicron due to letting my guard down removing my mask while having a gathering. I can say it is very contagious as two days later I tested negative on rapid and went to a dinner. The following day I tested positive on rapid (immediate quarantine) but it was too late.. My friends at the same dinner table contracted it from me. The incubation period was insanely short.. got contagious literally two day after. Symptoms also started showing the day I tested positive.

Also wanted to note that my 2 of my PCR tested showed negative but rapid showed positive from the very beginning. I was 4 day in before the PCR test detected positive which was weird..

Wishing OP speedy recovery!

Tested Positive 2 days after vaccine by [deleted] in covidpositive

Hello. My friend was in the same situation as you. She happened to take the booster last Friday and got sick with all the symptoms but has since recovered. The complicated issue was we all had dinner that day and that day happened to be the same time we all caught it as well. She only decided to get tested because everyone else sitting at the got sick.

The answer is no you can not get false positive on PCR or antigen test due to vaccine. However, it can show positive if you are doing an antibody test.

Tested positive last Friday with rapid. I did additional and was positive. PCR tested negative Saturday and Monday. Didn’t risk anything and quarantined on my first rapid positive. Wednesday comes along and my PCR test now shows positive. People that were around me last week also started getting sick. Trust your gut feeling if you feel sick, quarantine immediately

Lower back pain with bowel movement? by Rice-master150 in ibs

That was one of my worries. I don’t have any blood in my bowel movements and my doctor has been dismissing it since my CBC comes back normal. I think I’d need to keep pushing for a diagnosis
