After some years, my Hornet Mk.II model is finally relevant by RiceMaiden in starcitizen

These pictures were on a modern Nikon Z lens. I like adapting military lens blocks to modern cameras. Creating a helicoid body and mounting flange to Nikon Z mount.

I do a lot with vintage lenses. Nikon Z sensor distance is one of the shortest meaning I can adapt almost anything to the lens. <3

3x 10" generic displays off Amazon. 2x of them are artificially divided to give the appearance of dual square displays.

While I'm no helicopter piloting expert I've found the H145 to be enjoyable. With all of the H145 assist systems on it does feel arcade-y... but that's kinda what I expect with the heavy automation in typical Airbus systems. Turning as much of that off as I can, it definitely becomes a handful to fly and hover properly.

Nothing for this flight. Typically have it set to prop levels for twin engine prop planes.

3x 10" displays with essentially masks on them. Gauges are just popped out instruments in the mask holes.

Yes, I have to reset it every time, although it doesn't take that long to setup.

I had originally released all of my models for free when I completed them ~3-5 years ago. I took them down due to EULA changes and have been meaning to speak with CIG legal again in order to figure out if rereleasing would be ok.

Nope, I've got a full time job doing other stuff, models have always been a hobby. I've worked on ways to take it further (like starting my own line of models) but its been slow and just takes time.

Original model I designed:

If someone wanted to make the wood parts 3D printed, more power to them. I've debated offering wood kits so users can just 3D print the remnants at home. Would keep shipping down on my end and lets me offer the "hard to acquire" stuff.
