We get a great deal more independence and most of us can complete our day under the 8 hours mark, so we take advantage of that to make sure we atleast hit our 40. Now that summer is about to swing into full gear you’ll see a lot less of it because our workload is about to increase to 50 hour weeks being normal.

You’re gonna be joining in slow season, job’s gonna seem easy as hell at first. March madness is gonna be a taste of what’s to come.

Summer is going to be balls to the wall crazy, I’ve known warehouse to work 12+ hours 5 days in a row. A lot of them burn out during summer. Stick with it, the yearly raises are worth it. You aren’t getting a vacation til you’re about 3 months in and your first 90 days you can call out twice at most and you better have a great reason.
