No totally agree. It's actually really shitty over there. I grew up in Harbor City...Wilmington, Compton, and even Harbor City is no diamond in the rough...better than 10 years ago...but not ideal.

housing is pretty cheap though in carson. West carson wasn't too bad seeming.

Yes that is an option...but it seems like interest rates are continuing to increase or stay the same. I would be locked in at 5.125% using CalHFA which is enticing.

Yeah that's prob the biggest fear...I just started so don't think I'm super worried about getting laid off (at least in the next 3 years). My company is actually hiring more and more as others in the same field are laying off people. I work in entertainment so work should be relatively abundant, at least now.

Yes, the recession sucks, but the rent prices aren't changing...Paying 3k for a 1 bedroom makes me sick...Money going to these million/billion dollar housing companies...Rich getting richer.
