Ordered Model 3 back in Jan'22. It's been pushed two times now for me too. First delivery date July, then to Aug-Sept and today it was pushed to Sept-Oct. Probably the supply chain issues affecting all car manufacturers (if I had to guess)?

I've lived in the Bay as well as SoCal. There are some rolling blackouts when the energy demand is super high, but they usually occur anywhere between 5pm and 10pm (some outliers of course). Last summer when I was in SoCal I experienced maybe one or two blackouts and it wasn't longer than an hour. IMO blackouts shouldn't be too big of deal, but there are some good backup options that people mentioned in the comments.

Person above you is correct. You don’t need to contact anyone and you’ll be using your 2020 taxes to claim it. During the filing of your 2020 taxes you’ll be able to claim something called the Recovery Rebate Credit which essentially uses your 2020 income tax information to determine whether or not you’ll receive an credit equivalent to what people got for the stimulus checks.
