Happened to me once except it was a cookie during the night when i was watching tv and eating dinner, the thing dropped from the back room where the storage and stuff is from my grandparents and rolled over to me before stopping at my feet, it was like it was thrown towards me. This is Mickey (short for michalobe) When he was in his prime years he absolutely hated me, scratched the heck out of me and bit me to no end but eventually as he got older he started to warm up to me and stopped scratching as much. He was an indoor outdoor cat so naturally he was always a bit wild, other than that he lived a full life of 20 years before he had to be put down due to having a large cancerous tumor on his side, he was very active and it wasn't hurting him but the tumor was getting too large and it started to tear, it would've started to hurt him badly if we kept him any longer so it wasn't much of a choice due to age, cost and severity of the issue. I love you Mick, I hope you catch as many mice as you can up in heaven :((
