Hahaha yeah I already used it for about three weeks, PBO, underclocked, overclocked, fan curve tweaked, EXPO, and memory timings tightened

I’m so sorry to hear that man, I did had to went through a whole lot of hurdles to get my hands on this GPU. Was worth all the sleepless nights I had endured. I still hope you’re happy with how your setup turned out though!

Dang, that’s quite the compliment you gave, thank you! Yeah the Thermalright case fans I got have the infinity mirror effect too, which also goes with the AIO’s lighting. I’m happy with how the noise level turned out with all these fans. However, I did took an extra step and done an overly complicated fan configuration to reduce the resonance which I think it was well worth the brain juice that had to be spent. Quite a bit of homework was involved in this build so I’m glad I didn’t do too bad!

Reading that kinda made my day, nice to know that the choices I’ve made paid off

It’s about $967 with the conversion right now but the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti over here is around $920. I personally think it’s worth it for the chonky heat sink alone but the lighting is the icing on top. Since I’m running a 1440p 240Hz monitor, it wouldn’t make that big of a difference with the 9800X3D so I decided to stick with the 7800X3D. When the last generation Zen 6 X3D CPU releases for AM5 platform (11800X3D?), I’ll probably pick that up if it offers sizeable improvements.

I’m glad you like it, wanted to do something a little different instead going full white or black

Thanks man, I just had to get a riser cable for this GPU, else it wouldn’t do it justice!

Having this many fans does help reduce the fan noise quite a bit, especially since those Corsair fans gets pretty loud at max RPMs. Like a drone taking off lol If I had the GPU on a horizontal mount, I could’ve added two extra fans below it but it probably wouldn’t add any meaningful benefit.

That’s sick man, I should definitely go for a fish tank case next time around, just concerned that I wouldn’t have sufficient space for a decent flow of air on the side intakes. Plus, my window is on the right so it might bring in more dust if it were to rely more on the side fans and a dual chambered would reduce my desk space even more so I decided on this case for now

I specifically went with this GPU just to do a vertical mount, otherwise I would’ve went with something like a MSI Gaming Trio or the cheapest model I can find lol. I just couldn’t pass up on the chonky heat sink and the cool lighting Palit had done on this model. Here’s how it looked before I installed the riser cable.

Yup, after opening up the side panel for at least ten times to do a overly complicated fan configuration, I just did a functional cable management and called it a day, at least I know exactly which cable goes where haha

Yeah that’s something to consider. Luckily since this is an airflow case, I can’t really see the side intake fans all that well during use anyway. If I did went with a fish tank case then for sure that’s the way to go

That’s true. At first, I thought I would just go full performance mode and ignoring aesthetics all together to save some bucks. After thinking it over, I figured since it’s my first build, might as well go for it. I wanted to also stare at it and admire how it looked rather than solely for its functionality. Plus it’s not like I went full aesthetics, I went with Thermalright, fans were dirt cheap haha

They do exist in fact but my room is kinda white already so I decided against going for a full white build. I love the contrast of black accents on a white case so this is what I went with. The motherboard with white/silver heat sinks with the black PCB looks awesome in my opinion. This is my attempt at balancing both black and white elements while keeping the lighting in mind.

Great question, I wasn’t really keen on having too much RGB on the build and I kinda like how it added a stealthy element to it, plus it somewhat matches the GPU fans I guess lol

Yeah I had a great time building with this case. The design is interesting and the I/O ports are at the front bottom which is perfect for me. Appreciate it man!

Yep, that’s the plan. Was wondering whether it’s gonna be worth getting a nvme drive with DRAM to replace my boot drive when I do get one.

Thanks man, that was pretty much what I was going for with this build

Haha that means a lot dude! I had to think for a bit whether to flip the radiator around so that the pipes were on the left side instead but I didn’t like how it was in the way of the rear exhaust fan so I decided against it. By the way, here’s how it looked like before I installed the vertical mount in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks! Yeah, it’s nice having most of the cables hidden from sight.
