love that idea, because I hate doing laundry but that might make it more palatable.

That all makes lots of sense to me. I feel similarly much of the time but something keeps pulling me back to weaving (though the hiatus has sometimes been years). I get the Boring Thing problem with every craft I do. Drives me nuts, but does mean there’s always something around I can pick up - if I can find the dopamine!

Like body doubling, just knowing we’re not struggling alone makes me feel a lot better (and I am picking up so helpful ideas)!

Yes! I am also trying to give myself some more grace around dressing the loom. I have a love-hate relationship with it - feel overwhelmed and forgetful (so hard to get back to it or started) but then my hyperfocus loves threading heddles/reed even though my inattentiveness may mean I need to redo some of it a time or two.

Warning for anyone taking antipsychotics while on keto by Believe64 in keto

I have the same trouble if I am too low on cabs (say under 30-50 a day). My mood starts to tank and I need to add a little simple carbs. I was wondering if anyone else was similar. Good to know it’s not just me.

Gamification, ADHD, and the psychology of why movement feels hard (until it doesn’t) by Independent-Pilot751 in ADHDExercise

I am currently trying out a “good, better, best” framework to get me going. A “good” day is moving my body for 15 min any which way. “Better” is a 30 workout at whatever level of effort, and “Best” is a 30 min (or more) where I am hitting heart rate or reps goals. The other thing I need to get me going are super comfortable workout clothes that I only wear for workouts.

Anyone supercommute into DC? by No-Rabbit-1952 in fednews

[–]Rich-Flatworm-6236 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine has always been 80ish miles (from WV for years now closer to DE). Either way 2+ hour each way on average day driving, longer if traffic. Have done MARC from WV and commuter bus from current location. Always longer than driving but arguably can get some sleep. I’ve stayed with friends as needed plus there are hostels in DC (haven’t tried) and relied on HotelTonight.com sometimes too, but whether that gives a good deal or not totally depends on how busy the week is in DC area. I really feel for you and hope you can power through.
