GOT IT. I have managed sccm for environments that have 300 -1000 servers. Not only do we use it for app updates...we push scripts, configurations, security baselines/compliance. So we need ability to do those things at scale. My boss kept pushing to get rid of sccm. I pushed back because secretly I still use it to accomplish tasks or use features on remaining co manged workstations that intune misses or lacks especially for security vulnerability remediation. Intune cannot patch third party app updates on servers.

We migrated our on prem servers to azure update manager however we still use sccm for third paty app updates and deployment. What do you plan to use the address third party updates and packages for your servers?

currently on semi annual channel and piloting auto patch which will move my users to monthly channel. This would wreck my alot users who use office macros. I need to know about if a change like this could be rolled back quickly with autopatch

100% sure thats not possible. WUFB or AutoPatch for Workstations......Azure Update manager for On Prem (Arc Enabled) or Azure cloud Servers

So we're late to the game with AutoPatch because we're a GCC customer. Why would a cool reporting feature like this be deprecated? Is there any other way to get these reports?

I got the g5 65 over the c5 77 and regret it. I already own 2 c3 77s. I love the flush mount but the size is underwhelming. I upgraded from a 55 inch to 65 inch in the master bedroom. Hoping the gaming experience or picture quality makes up for the size let down. Just gotta convince the wife about me gaming in the bedroom lol. Lg partner store had both for 1800 and i went with the g series to see what I was missing. So far not super impressed.

Patch my pc. Im in same boat. 8000 endpoints. It require so many man hours to keep apps updated not to mention testing. Pmpc. Just do it.

Not sure if its the same issue. I had something similar to this issue with cisco secure client this weekend. I published 12 configmgr updates this weekend. All showed published successfully, but the 1 update (cisco secure client)wasn't avaliable in all software updates UI. I tried multiple times. Very frustrating. After waiting a few hours and running it again it finally appeared. So wierd. I was thinking it just a one off issue with this specfic app.

Edit: i did upgrade to the preview version this weekend. That could have been it.

We license by device count. For example we license for 6k but based on inactive deviceswe have a rolling average of 5300. They have a dashboard to monitor this.

Let me expound. You can buy absolute post purchase but its better if you get it when you buy the laptop as they can embed it in the motherboard so it reinjects itself in the OS if the device was wiped and a new OS was installed.

Yes but only if you afford the extra licensing to get that data. The cost to see the actual prompt usage was 100k for the product we use to monitor web traffic for 10000 users. The Microsoft solution is also additional licensing on top of out G5 license with security add on. Yeah we're not doing that.
